The entrances and exit areas are very old at least 15 years old !
Hopefully, NTUC can rejuvenate the frontage, entrance, and exit areas to improvise and suit the present year's appeal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This two-level supermarket is very spacious and yet not crowded. I often come here for the fresh seafood. The staff Mdm Ng Mui Tin is super helpful and friendly and always helped to clean and cut the fishes very thoroughly. The ladies manning the self checkout counters on level 1 are very nice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the south of the island, there are 12 NTUC FairPrices – Alexandra Retail Centre, Telok Blangah St, Depot Heights, Brickworks Estate, Lengkok Bahru, Alexandra View (Artra), Bukit Merah Central, Havelock Rd, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Kim Tian, Silat Ave, and VivoCity Xtra. In my opinion, the best is VivoCity, followed with Bukit Merah Central. Bukit Merah has a few things going for it 1) comprehensive range of products, 2) most times without crowds, 3) convenient parking, 4) Unity pharmacy.

Convenient location next to Bukit Merah Bus Terminal. It’s offerings are tailored more to the local community in Redhill, and the huge footprint over 2 floors is more like a FairPrice Xtra.
