FairPrice Finest Serangoon Garden Village - myVillage

Most of the time fresh fruits and veggies are not at the "finest" standards... Bought a few boxes of strawberries and most were rotten and mouldy in the centre but were so well hidden in the box. Same for the vegetables.

The crowd is thin despite my visit on a Sunday morning. So if u prefer a less crowded outlet, this will be a perfect choice. The range of items in this store is not extensive due to the size.. but comparing apple to apple. This store had serve its purpose.. small but functional.

Can get Porkee frozen pork loin which is not available at Finest Seletar. Great selection of cheeses. Has a very good wine, beer and spirits section.

A smaller scale supermarket with good range of products (food, confectionery) that you may need. Accepts cash, nets and most credot cards payments.

I wish to provide feedback on the staff manning the fresh fish counter. I was at NTUC Serangoon Garden Branch this morning and wanted to purchase the frozen half shelled abalone. My husband politely asked the staff whether there are any frozen abalone that are kept in the freezer as we wanted to buy them to keep in our freezer. We had wanted to buy a lot more for freezing as the batch we bought two days ago were good. Some of those that are on display in the heap were already soft. That's why we asked the counter staff. The staff very rudely told us not to buy if we did not like those that were put out. He went on grouching and grumbling about the matter loudly even as we had walked away from the counter. We do shop at Sheng Siong and NTUC weekly, and we found the experience at the fresh fish counter at Sheng Siong so different from those at NTUC. I hope NTUC can afford more effort at service-training and basic courtesies for ALL their staff. Also advise their staff not to be so offensive as we truly did not deserve such an unpleasant experience on the first day of CNY. I wish to qualify that the low rating is ONLY for the fresh fish counter. The rest of the staff at NTUC Serangoon Garden Branch has been polite and helpful the many years we have shopped there. In fact , I had previously given this NTUC outlet a high rating.

Love the frozen food section, fair selection on frozen meat. Good selection of cheeses. Would appreciate signage to clarify shopping trolleys only take old one dollar or 50 cents coins. Like the Village feel of the area. Easy parking. Choices of food from a handful of restaurants, cafes or takeout outfits.

This is a shout out for Yalee. She has been very pleasant and patient to assist, very professional and courteous in the numerous instances i experienced with her. Am very pleased and glad that the store has such a responsible and friendly employee who goes out of way to serve. Keep it up!

Not much crowd but not so big as well. The fresh produces are fresh, bought some vegetables and fruits when visited here. Was walking around after my dinner around serangoon garden and shopped groceries here. Located at B1, the entrance quite small because of safe-entry point. Few cashiers were around and quite many self-service counters. It wasn't big exit point but not much crowd as well.
