Apples are one of my family regular favourite fruits and frequently buy fruits from Fairprice. 2 weeks ago as usual, i have bought 10 pcs nz apples for $3.95. The apples look alright on the outside but when i slice away the skin as my grandchildren do not like the skin, i was shocked to find almost half of the apple was dark brownish rotten. 6 out of the 10 apples were bad and had to be thrown away. But i was not able to show any proof of purchase as my wife had thrown away the receipt for this purchase. On 24th Nov, after the bad experience with the last batch of apples, i decided to buy another type of apples. I bought 5 china fuji apples and another type of nz apples which have been prepacked. As usual, i slice away the skin and noticed some brownish spots (as seen on the photos provided) on the apple. Though this is not as bad as the 10 apples bought previously, which was really dark brown and rotten. When i went back to the geylang bahru branch today to feedback the problem, i was attended to by the branch supervisor. I showed her the receipt as proof of purchase and provided details, showing the photos of the apple. Explained to her that from the surface, the apples look alright but its only after i have removed the skin that revealed the problem. I told her that she should feedback this issue to the relevant department and the supplier. When showing her the photos of the apple, i was shocked when she make a remark that i could have knocked the apple which caused the yellowish spots. And she further commented that the apple can still be eaten. Upset by her remarks, i asked her to reconfirm her statement that the apple is fit for human consumption. She subsequently apologised for having made that remark and that it was her personal opinion. She have since assisted to make a refund for the apples.

I am a resident here and frequent NTUC FairPrice Kallang Bahru very regularly. As a regular customer i think I know majority of the staffs/cashiers very well. They are helpful, mindful and friendly. Happily doing their work and duties occasionally chatting with us on products and promotions.

Located on the 2nd level, it's a one level supermarket. Average-sized NTUC with most basic items available. Also has a 4D/Toto booth.

Had dinner with family at Geylang Bahru hawker centre. Decided to visit the NTUC fair price, very convenient to buy groceries and staff very nice, polite. Happen to be there, can gather some food or stuff at NTUC fair price.

1st ntuc store in Singapore. Limited range. Wish the store manager able to bring in more varieties.

last time i went at i think 7 +am but then there a person who chased me out when i already check in.he say this hour just open for olderly ask me to come back another times.i know this one is olderly exclusive but then really disfair and troublesome people who cannot go for others timing.

There's so much to improve, since it's open at 7am, all items has to be fully stocked. Instead of keeping customers waiting for the items to hit the shelves. Pay attention to the freshness of the vegetables and fruits. For example, Chinese cabbage has black spots on it, should it be displayed? NTUC Fair price no longer price fair.
