Faith Coat - 37 Lor 23 Geylang

Faith coat was hired by my property owner about 4 years ago for paint coat on tiles and bath tub / shower tray in the bathrooms. Back then, it took 29 days for bubbles to start appearing on the bath tub and shower tray paint coat after which the paint continued peeling off from all over. This month (April 2020), Faith coat had been hired to do a paint job. Particularly for coating the trunking area in the bathroom, the contractor Philip Lim continued to insist to not prepare the base with proper sanding and scraping off the old peels; and instead proceed with painting over even though the finish may be uneven. Not willing to discuss, cooperate, consider workable options or even explain satisfactorily - he resorted to misbehaving and being disrespectful instead, despite my polite (no exaggeration) responses and reminders that he needed to calm down. Eventually disappointed, I had to spell out to him that I did not appreciate the attitude. And, expecting an apology, I suggested that if he is unable to demonstrate courtesy and professionalism, he may leave the premises. He chose to leave! Why hire a contractor whose work has been experienced as not durable or lasting? Why engage a contractor who apparently lacks professionalism and has attitude problems? ... are exactly the questions I have in mind.
