FEK has very dedicated and talented teachers. I like it that the teachers know all the students by name. I can see their love for the children. My two girls have been very much blessed by the activities the school has for them. They studied art techniques and had lots of fun preparing their own concert props. There were little projects throughout the year to help them boost their confidence in speaking to an audience. We always look forward to the year-end concert. The little ones put up such an amazing musical all by themselves under the guidance of the teachers and Mrs Ang, the principal. I also like it that FEK teaches the children to care for the environment and for all things God created. I think FEK has a fantastic edible garden. My girls used to bring home lettuce during Chinese New Year Period for steamboat :). Homegrown organic lettuce. This year, the K2s had the opportunity to condition the garden soil by introducing earthworms. They were not afraid to hold them! We really love FEK and the community!

Testimonial from my child who has benefitted so much from Far Eastern Kindergarten that we are immensely grateful for. ‐--------‐------‐--- Fek has helped me grow and is fun at the same time. The teachers helped me behave well and are extremely kind. I like the garden, where we grow plants and harvest them. Fek has exciting excursions and games. Ever since I joined Fek, my general knowledge has grown. Fek taught me about how we should recycle, about how we should trust in God, and what is happening to the environment. Once a week, we go to gym lessons to keep ourselves fit. During children's day, Fek let us play exciting games. For the 4 years of my life, I went to Fek and it has never failed me. From what I remember, our principal, Mrs Ang always gives us a chance whenever we do something wrong and helps us learn from our mistakes. Thank you Fek for guiding me through my kindergarten days! ♡Kelly, your former student:D

Have you taken a good look at FEK’s website, Facebook and Instagram? What you see online is just the tip of the iceberg! My eldest is now in K2 and school is her happiest place besides home ? this year my number two joined in the fun and i’m so so glad and thrilled to see that joy in her eyes and glee in her smiles whenever I get to fetch them back from school. How time flies and how we miss those pre-covid days! It’s been more than 2 years of covid now; FEK has shown faith, wisdom, grit, resilience by God’s grace to overcome the countless challenges in the daily operations of the school. Instead of taking the easiest way out and bow down to the giants, they constantly find reasons and ways to press on. So that the children’s well being and growth are not compromised (as much as possible), and just so that they will not be disappointed. All the grit and love behind the fun and laughter our children had, are so appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. FEK always put its children first. A pre-requisite many may say since this is a pre-school; FEK has demonstrated this over and over again especially so in this covid period. Do not take for granted that all pre-schools will always put children first. We feel so safe and secured to put our daughters here, knowing that they are in awesome good hands everyday. Try FEK and be blessed beyond!

My first child entered FEK in 2014 and since then I have had at least one child in the school until now. All my children enjoyed their years in FEK and the teachers and principal still remember each one by name. Some might think that a small church-based kindergarten with a short 3-hr programme might be a disadvantage in terms of structure, economies of scale and hard to manage pickups and dropoffs. But I have never found the curriculum and standards anything less than excellent. In fact, they have always exceeded expectations in terms of quality and creativity. The shorter hours also work for me because I enjoy having some time to spend with my child during the day while the older ones are in primary school. A small school also means that everyone knows everyone and that family feeling is very warm and welcoming for the children. Pre-covid, we were allowed to hang around after school for the children to play at the playground and eat their after school snacks. Those times were the best! Each classroom is also linked outdoors to a gardening area, where the kids get to experiment growing veggies and seeds and even eat their own harvest! There are many opportunities for the children to expand their capabilities, like in the year-end musicals, tangshi poetry recitations, or project terms where the class has to present their research findings. The shy quiet ones are also encouraged to take on a few lines and speak in front of the class and school, helping them build confidence. Updates from the teachers come on a weekly basis via qoqolo, with pictures and summary of your child’s milestones, both in English and Mandarin. Teachers and management also keep parents up to date with school activities via videos and photos on the same app. Apart from that there is direct contact between parents and teachers as they respond to whatsapp messages. Teacher turnaround is very low, so that says something for the sense of purpose and belief that the teachers have in this school. In this school, my children have been loved and cared for. They have grown and matured. They look with envy at the youngest who still has a few more years to go there…and Im glad I still have a few more years to share with this excellent education partner.

My nephew and a few of my friends' children are current/ex-pupils of FEK and I have always heard good things about the school. Especially love hearing about their holistic curriculum and focus on the environment, culture and heritage that are anchored in Biblical teachings!

My husband and I are very grateful that our kids have the privilege of spending their preschool years in FEK. When my son entered FEK, he was barely able to eat solids due to medical challenges. At that time, chewing and swallowing regular food like rice, noodles, etc. was a challenge for him. The teachers were patient with him and encouraged him during mealtimes. He was always quick to utter his teachers' names when I asked who his friends in school were. Oh, how he love these kind and nurturing teachers so! Please consider FEK... - if you wish for nurturing, attentive, supportive and communicative pre-school staff. - if you long for your kid to be excited to go to school everyday and return home passionate about school events. - if you're concerned about developing your child in godly character and also primary school-readiness. - if you're looking for a school where many parents are raving fans. ;)

FEK has given my daughter the best 3 years of her life and it has been truly a blessing for our family. The school provided her with a strong foundation not just in academics but they helped build her character and instilled values that we see in her daily life. She is now a confident and independent girl as FEK provided her with a safe place to learn to make mistakes, learn and to grow into the best version of herself. The teachers and staff always go above and beyond in everything that they do. They always listen to the voices of the children, being so respectful of their thoughts and ideas, plan interesting and engaging activities as well as working closely with families to help develop our child holistically. Health and safety are always a priority in FEK and we trust that she is always well taken care of. The environment is warm, cozy and inviting. There is a huge outdoor area where children can run freely and have the opportunity to participate in many different planned activities, such as water play and outdoor learning. The garden is also where the children are able to plant their own crops, care for it, harvest and even eat it! After graduating from FEK, my daughter speaks so fondly about the school and we miss FEK very much! You will never find another school like FEK and it is truly the best place to be!

As an educator, I’m very particular about the kindergarten I send my children to. I wanted a kindergarten with a robust academic curriculum, a focus on the arts and ample outdoor play, and most importantly, one that was centred upon Christian values. I spent over a year researching, visiting and shortlisting kindergartens to enrol my firstborn in. I’m so glad that I came across FEK through the recommendation of a friend. It ticked all the boxes and is truly a hidden gem! My son has had such a great time learning at school. In just a year, he has become so much more independent. The school has taught him life skills and social skills well. They have instilled in him lifelong values and helped build a strong foundation in his interest for learning. The lessons are dynamic and varied, and cater to the different learning needs of each child. The Principal, Teachers and staff know each child by name. It’s a tight knit and very supportive community. Parents are kept in the loop regularly about their child’s progress. The school truly upholds its high standards of teaching and learning, and does an excellent job in instilling the love for learning in the children. I am convinced that I can find no better place for my children to grow in their formative years. My second son will be enrolling in FEK next year too! Thank you FEK!
