SATURDAY mornings at Farrer Park for swimming are inspiring. YOU MAY see the great Ang Peng SIONG and enjoy our future swimming champions going through the hard training. It is a place to see dedicated parents supporting them happily as well.

If you just want to swim casually, it costs $6.50 and only open at 12-2pm for non-lesson swimmers. Better go to Jalan Besar stadium swimming pool. It causes just $1-1.30 (and you can pay with ez-link card!).

Nice pool, focused more on private teaching and classes more than anything. Place is open to the public only between 12-2pm where you can swim in any of the tools available for 6.50 SGD. Decent facilities, ageing but still functional with a decent location and parking available. Close to KK hospital.

A really tranquil training place with deep pools. Also has great heritage as legendary Singapore swimmers used to swim here. However, there are leaves in the pool and this may hinder with swim training.

APS swim school is located there. If you want your kid to learn and even take swimming to the competitive level. You can come for their evaluation and they will place your kid to the appropriate level and advance from there.

Old but tidy place with enthusiastic founder, owner and coaches for whom love sports to learn many life lessons through swimming.

One of the oldest swimming complexes in Singapore hosting one of the best swimming clubs in Singapore (APSC). Pools are not bad but they're absolutely dated. Blockstarts are placed only on one side, no adjustments, water temperature is not controlled so if it's hot outside, you'll boil during training in 15min, facilities are functional but not always clean. There's also a gym but everything in there is rusted and just as old as everything else. It has it's charm and legacy but in desperate need for renovations and upgrades.
