Quite disappointed with how the ID rep was during house visit. We kept talking and their rep, Afzal was mostly quiet and listening. No ideas or feedback was given. What was most shocking is that he did not take any note. We gave a lot of ideas of what we wanted and what we're unsure of. If you do not write this down, how would you remember the tiny details we're saying? He also told us to go 'play' with colour apps ourselves to figure out what colour we want and to walk in to the paint shops ourselves to see what texture paint / wallpaper we want. If we need to do all the work including looking for design, then what is the purpose of engaging you as Interior Designer? It was not appropriate for you to inform us to go see the design and shortlist ourselves. He was also seemingly disturbed over the fact that we had another ID waiting at our door for the next house visit. Puzzled as to why would this disturb him. Many people go to many contractors and IDS before finalizing which one they want to proceed with. ID did not want to give any sketch of their idea unless a premium deposit price, 1k+ is paid. This is confusing as the reason for taking an ID is us buying their design services. If we don't know how your design looks like, how can we engage you? The ID said if we do not want to proceed with them after the 1k sketch, we can keep that sketch. What would we want to do with the sketch if we don't like it?? No follow up was done and until now no quote is given. Throughout the entire house visit, we felt that ID was not interested in the work or what we're saying. This is quite disappointing as this ID was highly recommended by my sister and we were keen on taking you on. Worst part is how inflexible they are in terms of the time they can do house visit or discuss with you. It was to be Mon-Fri by 7pm. Despite us requesting numerous times saying that that is working hours and it would be difficult, the ID insisted he cannot come after 7 and on weekends. You expect your customers to be flexi with their time but you can't be. My husband took time off from his office to meet with you where your ID rep seemed completely disinterested during the house visit. Wasted our time.

Would like to thank Afzal and the FDS team for turning our dated resale flat, to a beautiful functional home. They were attentive to all our design needs, provided constructive solutions and open to new ideas. Afzal would provide creative solutions so that we are able to stay on budget. Afzal managed the project well and was always on site to ensure the contractors execute the work to plan. Thanks to him and the team, for transforming our flat.
