If you like authentic Hong Kong style noodles, this is the place u want to come. The noodles are always cooked to perfect springiness and bounciness, you can definitely differentiate this unique texture. Their char siew are also well roasted, it is tender and juicy despite being mainly lean meat, and the charred flavor is amazing! Overall this plate has all the makings of a perfect wanton mee, highly recommended for wanton mee fans like me.

Taste not bad. A large portion of meat was given. Sauce good. It's just I don't find the charsiew mind blowing good. 4/5

Nice char siew, tender and tasty. Fried wanton was crispy. It will be better if vegetable is added to the noodle.

Thick cut tender char siu with al dente noodles in a dark sauce. Standards are fantastic whether you eat there or takeaway.

Was there a month back and saw this stall next to Jin Jin. Saw someone ordered the crispy noodles and told myself I would be back to try. Ordered one and was standing and seeing how the chef prepared and cooked the dish. He was very particular not to pour the gravy on the noodles to keep it crispy throughout and told me to eat by dipping the noodles into the gravy. Am very impressed the dish was very well executed and there was nothing to fault. Enjoyed it a lot and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Not sure how many Fatty Cheong in ABC market but this in the photo the Wanton Mee is not to my liking. The noodle sauce is quite normal, the char siew is tough and dry.. will try other food next time..

Cantonese Prawn Crispy Noodle. Opened by the same people being Fatty roast meat in the same food centre. A few select cantonese private dishes are offered here. The fish soup may be ordinary but it is actually quite good, think wok hee in a broth. But the star dish is definitely their crispy noodle which uses the same noodles that is served in the family's wanton noodle shop situated a few stalls a way. Cantonese Sliced Fish Noodle. The dish could definitely work on its platting or presentation but this humble cantonese style fish noodle soup embodies some wok hei after taste that screams for some XO to be added. Probably the most reasonable single person dish you can order here and it taste pretty ok.

The Prawn Crispy Noodles (粤式虾球生面) looked and tasted good - restaurant quality but hawker centre price ($8) and quantity. In contrast, everything in the Black Bean Sauce Sliced Fish Hor Fun was bland and tasteless. The brown diluted sauce tasted nothing like black bean at all. Nonetheless, I will be back to try the other dishes as the uncle (Fatty Cheong himself) was very nice and hygenic. CDC vouchers were accepted too.
