The wanton noodles is superb! The charcoal roasted char siew and the special noodles in it's light broth is to die for! The best so far! Better than Crystal Jade I dare say!

Ordered the roasted duck noodles today. Tender roasted duck with slight crisp skin. Noodles were springy as usual, paired with soya stock base. Wanton and Char siew noodles still the best.

Roast Duck Char Siew Noodles. The considered ulu (read far) food village was in the news last year for clocking a few Michelin Bid Gourmand stalls within the food centre. In particular, this stall garnered the most raving reviews. Their char siew is what most people come for and gets sold out before 11am. Pair it with their al dente egg noodles and you get scrumptious combination.

Char siew in this stall is good, roasted just nice on meat with layer of fats that oozes out when bitten. expect queue, people are known to take away quite a few packs apart from having there since queuing takes half to 1 hour. Worth the travel and queue for this stall. Prefer to eat on the spot.

#01-28 Fei Fei Roasted Noodle 肥肥燒臘雲吞麵片 Fei Fei Roasted Noodle is a very popular stall with queues forming up to 1 hour before it even opens. Well known for their Roast Duck and Char Siew, this stall frequently sells out their Roast Duck within the first hour of operation. Wanting to enjoy their Roast Duck or Wanton Mee requires patience. When one finally gets a plate of their wonderful wanton mee, one gets to enjoy one of the best. Tucking into the noodles, the springy and slight al dente feel of the noodles was refreshingly fun and enjoyable. The stall would send out a staff to check with those in the queue about what the orders of the customers are to gauge the availability of their Roast Meats. Although they are awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore Award, this stall has the popularity but may not be worth a visit if not in the vicinity. General Verdict: Great Wanton Noodles not matched by signature Roast Meats Opening Hours: Daily 9am-12-30pm (Closed on Sunday) Queue Situation: About 45 mins to 1 hour Price: SG$3.50 onwards Payment Mode: Cash Only Is this worth a try? Yes Is it worth making a trip just to try it? No Is this worthy of the Michelin Bib Gourmand Singapore Award? Unsure Item Ordered: 1) Item: Wanton Noodle 鮮蝦雲吞麵 - with Roast Duck meat add-on Description: Wonderful springy noodles served with the flavourful wantons and paired with the popular duck meat. Found the Duck Meat a little dry, perhaps to avoid Verdict: Good, Can Order Price: SG$3.50 (Add on $1.50 for Duck Meat)

Very long queue even in the weekday. Char siew not too sweet and have a very strong charcoal taste. Roasted Duck is succulent and not dry. Not really a fan of the noodle, it tasted sweet but the pork lard adds a nice touch to the Noodles. Soup is pretty normal. The chili has alot of hae be in it.

Hyped up stall on social media and rightly so. Pretty good roast meat but lacklustre noodles that is worth a try. I would rate this higher than the famous one in Golden Mile but still a notch behind the one in Tiong Bahru. Ordered the $5.50 char Siew + roast duck noodles. ✅ Generous serving with many pieces of char Siew and duck, sliced thickly ✅ Char siew was well-charred on the outside, rendering a smoky aftertaste. ✅ Char Siew sauce was neither cloyingly sweet nor sickeningly reddish. ✅ Each slice had a balanced proportion of fats and lean meat, whilst leaning more towards fatty side. ✅ Duck meat was very tender and aromatic. Not too gamey yet not overpowered by five spices too. ❌ Noodles, albeit cooked al-dente, had a tinge of sweetness to it. Presumably from their secret noodles gravy sauce. Not as sweet as the one from Golden Mile but not still not super palatable. ❌ Lengthy wait time (perhaps due to social media hype, can wait till the razzmatazz dwindles). I queued for one hour on a weekday morning starting 9am. Patrons were already queuing way before the stall opened.

Came here for the wanton mee but it was sold out and so I tried their roasted duck noodles. I was pleasantly surprised! The roasted duck is very delicious and their noodles and the simple gravy is just so good that I bet you will come back for another bowl
