Tricia providea excellent service. She is cheerful, patient and give practical advices on how to maintain our nails. Her place is comfortable and serene. She practices good hygiene. Thumbs up for her!

I am a regular in Files & Buffers for years now, have not been going to other salon. Gel manicures and pedicures were lasting and cuticles were all clean. Tricia is also meticulous in handling me when I got confused in nail designs everytime on my appt, Thumbs up!

Bought a Fave voucher and was expecting some hard-selling but the lady boss didn't even ask if I wanted to get a package while I was quietly waiting for the question to come up. She is super nice, friendly and meticulous and gave helpful suggestions when I couldn't decide on my toe colour. I was also running a bit late for my appointment and she actually tried calling to check up on me because she was worried I had lost my way (and I was indeed lost). The place is a bit small and inaccessible but I like that it's quiet, unlike the other overcrowded and overpriced salons I've been to. Will definitely be back here when her salon moves to a more accessible place next to Yishun MRT.

Went in without knowing what design to have painted on my nails. Both the nail techs Tricia and Peiyi took time to brainstorm and they did the design on the spot which turned out great. I truly appreciate their sincerity and attentiveness throughout the whole process. Will definitely patronise this place again !

The nail lady is a very polite and nice person. She has good hospitality as she offered me to watch movies on Netflix while she did my nails. I’m writing this review to give constructive feedback and for future improvements. I asked for a customised nail set and I did extensions. During the process of filing my nails and removing the dead skin, I feel that she could have been more gentle. She accidentally peeled my skin off on my ring finger (left) and the index finger (right). It caused some bleeding in the process. I did my nails on the 24th of March. This pictures are as of 26th March. For my index finger I think the blood stains are going to be there until I remove this extensions because of the acrylic and the nail polish. After she completed the nails. I did not really pay much attention to the details. This was my own fault because I could have asked for amendments on spot. Later on in the day during the evening, as I was admiring my nails, I realise that my left index finger extension was uneven and deviated from my actual nail as compared to my other fingers. Zooming into details, the painting of the nails were not up to satisfactory level especially around the edges, because there was unevenness. All this minute details can contribute to how the overall nails looks like and customer’s satisfaction level. Lastly to add on, I’m surprised that I was being charged 120$ for this nails. This is because the design of the nails are simple and don’t require drawings. I showed my friends my nails afterwards and told them about the price. My friends said that I could have easily gotten this done at 50$ for home based nails. I personally would not patronise this store again. I did this review on Facebook on the 27th of March. Owner removed the entire review section. This show dishonesty and poor work ethics.
