6 items reviewed ⬇️ 1. White beehoon: 5/5 Cheap and especially good in the morning (around 8am) when it's freshly cooked! 2. Salad: 3/5 Overpriced, ingredients didn't taste that fresh 3. Corn five grains bee hoon: 4/5 The noodles had a similar texture to glass noodles (smooth and chewy). Portion size is rather big; a lot of noodles given though the other ingredients e.g. corn, tofu were quite little. Was expecting a colourful bowl of noodles but I got mainly white noodles with a few strands of yelllw and brown ones. But I didn't really mind that. The broth complemented the noodles well. Topped with leeks and peanuts (self-service, next to cutleries) for extra fragrance and crunch. Will try their non-vegetarian options next time! 4. Bibimbap: 4/5 It was an enjoyable dish overall with a good balance of flavours. A pity the egg yolk wasn't runny though. It does look good presentation-wise & I liked how they used soybean sprouts instead of mungbean sprouts. But Tamarind's korean stall is still the best (in NTU at least)! 5. Duck porridge: 3/5 A simple bowl of porridge topped with a good amount of duck meat, taukwa, egg, and peanuts. The chilli goes well with the porridge. More ingredients can be added at reasonable prices ($0.50 - $1). Gave a lower rating as I got a stomachache after eating, though I was fine the past few times I ate it. I might just have been unlucky, or their quality control might be lacking. 6. Caifan: 4/5 $4 for 2 veg and 1 meat. Quite pricey for a caifan stall in school. There's always a long queue, though it moves fast. Not sure what the hype is about though. The cabbage and soybean sprouts were ok texture-wise, but I didn't like how they were drenched in oil. But the pork chop was good! Tender and flavourful.

Open space but windy with big fans and high ceiling. A wide selection of nice food choices. Clean and spacious.
