I enrolled at FlightSchool Singapore not really knowing what to expect. I had done a few light aircraft flights in the past and was interested in understanding better how they worked and possibly going on to get a pilots Licence. The joining process was very easy and came with a significant amount of text books and reference materials to use through the course. The actual lessons are in a modern simulator that gives a very accurate representation of what it would be like to pilot a real Cessna. The instruction was based around my local airfield that I would chose to compete my licence and I was impressed with the amount of research the instructor had done on this airfield, in order to make the flying experience accurate. Course work can be competed in person or using class recordings, the later was great for me as I could catch up with this in my own time. I would not describe myself as a natural pilot and I find the lessons require a lot of concentration (as you would expect from anything new). The instructor is very patient and clearly has an enthusiasm for helping students learn his craft. This helps enormously in building the confidence to perform the tasks and learn how to fly. I would definitely recommend this school as a very good and cost effective way to start your journey to becoming a Pilot.
