★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fort Canning Park is a popular spot for exercise and nature lovers, but they may not realise a covered reservoir sits on top of the hill.
Fort Canning Service Reservoir was built by the British in the 1920s, on the site of the former artillery barracks and parade ground. It still supplies water to our city areas together with Pearl’s Hill Service Reservoir.
Water is a vital resource for Singapore. Climate change may well affect the reliability of our rainfall, we must do our best to conserve water and use it responsibly. My thanks to PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency for its efforts to maintain a sustainable water supply for Singapore

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was GREAT even though my daughter was a walking juice box for mosquitos. When we got to the playground, she had great fun! Amazing place. Heard frogs, saw fish, dogs, and colorful roosters! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite places in Singapore. Especially for early morning walks. Nice, quiet and shady trails. Lots of interesting plants and history. And whiff of pandan when you walk along certain areas. ❤️

Fort Canning is a park right in the middle of everything, but is still always very quiet.
Good place for a stroll or picnic.
Not the most child friendly, though there's a playground at the corner. Lots of hills to climb for those who are pushing strollers.
Nice place to go, but bring enough water

You can visit any time of the day most of the part you can access by wheelchair.
Recommend to plan the points you want to go before you start the tour.
Evening time might be the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ nice and educational park in the middle of city. No many people are aware or visit this place making it great if you want some calm. It is hilly so be prepared to swear a bit. A lot of historical landmarks and history about this place. You can easily spent the whole day here. Luckily there are plenty of benches, F&Bs and also eateries in Fort Canning Hotel. Some parts are still upgrading (like shelter walkways, escalators), so it will be easier to walk. National Museum is also a stone throw away if you want to pop by for some aircon and history. It is a great place to jog and there is also a fitness centre.
