Best ba chor noodles in the world! Look at how happy I am

I had a $3 bowl of Bak Chor Mee (minced pork noodles). It was fairly basic - braised minced pork with soya sauce poured over the cooked noodles. Just minced pork and one accidental sliver of mushroom. Perhaps I was expecting more. By the way, there's no Laksa on Fridays, which was my original intent.

Comfort food at extremely value for money price. Please support this uncle as he is selling 2.50 and 3 dollars noodles at cbd area. Place has old school vibe and deserves support!

One of the cheapest and delicious food you can find in town area. If you are working in the Raffles Place, Boat Quay, Clark Quay area. You are in luck. There is an unknown gem for the foodie and working professionals looking for a cheap and good meal.

this is really a hidden gem. $2 in 2019. now is June 2022 with all the inflation, cost pressures, covid n lower crowd. n its $2.50. n its not sub-standard food at all. uncle dishes out 7 types of traditional noodles each day e.g. lor mee, laksa, fishball, mee siam, mee rebus. he's been cooking this for 30+ years. Good nostalgic food. decent proportion. friendly uncle. a place that you would want to keep coming back. family feel. i'll be bringing my parents n in-laws here.

Value for money 5/5 , food taste 3/5 , laksa is best tasting of the 3 dishes we tried. $2.50 + $1 fishball, rest were all $2.50.

Tried the dried minced meat noodle and prawn noodles soup! It’s delicious and I can really eat this everyday! The shop may look run down, but the food is has a nostalgic feels. The portion is just nice for me, may be small for big eaters. Love it!

I'm so happy whenever I come across a gem of a foodplace, and even happier if the taste is old-school! My son who works in town recommended this place to us and we tried it soon as we were in town. It's like a walk into sleep hollow in downtown CBD, and just looking at the old photos on the walls, and that electric Diamond wall clock, was like taking a time machine back some 40 years to my own childhood. The noodles were done el dente, and their generous use of black vinegar gave out that tangy kick we don't find too often these days. The Laksa was Oo-lala Lemak, and the mee rebus amazing! The best part? 3 bowls of noodles in ample portions, + 1 cup of thick Kopi -si....$9.30! Now in these days of inflation, this is a welcome change!
