★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Transferring money into FSM account via FAST happens within a day.
Transferring money OUT from FSM account takes 3 or more days!!!!!!
Reason? They need to verify the account first, so they will post a cheque to the bank crediting account, and the bank will take another few days to process that payment.
If it is the same account that was used to transfer money in, why is there a need to verify again??!!??
Slow or no response to phone calls (more than 30 mins on each try).
Dividends from overseas counters are not deposited into the account in a timely manner.
Poor forex rates...
And the list goes on...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My time is expensive and I almost never leave a review. However, the inefficiency of FSM and it's customer service (if any) warrants a honest 1 star. For a company whose value is "To help investors around the world invest globally and profitably", its action is anything but.
The customer service fails on every single level, replying email once every 24 hours not to provide a solution but merely to prolong the process. It took me more than 10 days to reactivate an account when full information is given.
If you are thinking of using FSM or its related services, think twice. At best, use it as a secondary option and never as your primary account. For a trading/investment services company that cannot resolve straightforward account issues, imagine having issues when you have open positions. Good luck.
Like the old adage, you can have it cheap but you can't have it good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It appears the hot line is not monitored at all, even during the stated working hours. I've been investing through FSM for over a decade, overall great experience. It's the first time I tried to reach someone with a quick but urgent question, but I had to give up after trying for 5 times. Not that the line was busy but simply there's no one picking up! The one star is for the hot line only, not a rating for the overall service.

Attempted to transfer my positions to another platform but they could only process in 2-4 weeks yet my other broker said they did not receive any instructions by the 3rd week. As a result, my 1 year worth of profits wiped out entirely as I am unable to trade during this time-sensitive period pending for the position transfer that did not materialize. A very costly wait and this is an unacceptable service considering the amount of fees paid vs the quality of service I am receiving. Terribly upset but there's nothing else I can do other than this. Deal with this broker at your own risk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ FSM is a great place to shop for Unit Trusts.
1) it offers a huge range of products equipped with all the key information about them
2) it has an amazing filter tool to narrow your focus on specific Geography / Sectors / Fund Managers. Plus, it categorizes each product by their risk level and source of funds to buy them
3) they have tons of reading and research materials within the site which you can rely upon to analyze the products you are willing to buy
and 4) the customer service is really good. they are responsive, and effective. also if you are keen to meet with advisor, they can do that too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Regular Savings Program is great. RSP fees are low. Good for long term buy-and-hold dollar-cost-averaging. Their process is 100% automated and online, except for the GIRO form. Admin is easy to navigate and dispense with. I never had to seek help via chat nor call. May not be the best for real-time traders due to reasons by other reviewers Eg. higher fees, slower update time, longer time to login. However, it’s great for my purposes.
