Function five thrift shop - 43 Arab St

Came here 2 times and the experience was always rather pleasant. Easy to find the way with the help of their tiktok videos. The staff are very friendly n welcoming; always willing to help you keep your clothes one side while you browse through n also let us put down our bags for a more comfortable experience ? Now, the shop is definitely much more organised compared to the first time my friends n i shopped at function-five. Easier to search for clothings n so on. Though, the graphic tee designs here r not ideal but if you thoroughly search through you might find a tee to your liking. Also, we’re loving the addition of the new batik prints - very unique! Over at the Arab St. store (2nd floor), the designs of the windbreakers n sweaters r rlly nice n unique. Definitely go visit this thrift store at least once, no regrets. (btw they alw hv many deals which we love)

i went here recently and i bought 3 rings and they were really cute. but i met with some difficulties and one of the employees, Shaz, was really helpful! she helped me with whatever questions i had and even helped me to find the perfect ring for me! amazing

I had the best welcome, experience, and farewell, by Shaz. Immediately greeted by a warm smile that made me comfortable to take my time and look around to find what I need. Time to time she will slot in and ask if there’s anything she can do to help and even offered to give her own personal opinion. I ended up buying a ring that was definitely a purchase reasoned with the help of Shaz. I left the store happy, satisfied and looking forward for my next visit.

Nat was very friendly and helped me and my boyfriend with the prices of the hat when we were in doubt. She’s also very pretty hehe :P The shop is organised and cool. Clothes are very nice too but the prices are mid. Will come back again <3

visited this place today with my brother and we were greeted by friendly staff Nadia. bought 2 cool jackets at $25 each and were entitled to free blazers. won 50% coupon off our next purchase, honestly have nothing much to complain about the experience.

I like the organization of the shop and how it is nicely arranged. It was easy to navigate around and about the shop and I managed to get a purple paisley windbreaker. My friends and I was pleasantly greeted by Natasha who was eager to share with us how to read the different colour coded tags. If there was any feedback I would have wished for more modes of payment and also because the mobile reception in the shop made payment via paynow a little slow. But all in all, I like a friendly thrift store that reminded me that it doesn’t take much to be kind to others. What a pleasant experience it was!

Cool place! Really not deserving of such a low score on google reviews (mostly due to some fool who reviewed this place decently yet gave it 2 stars). Pros: - Huge selection of tops for both males and females. - Even has a 2nd floor with more clothes. - prices range from $5 and upwards. Some good steals can be found. - Super friendly staff! Cons: - Prices are higher on 2nd floor as the clothes are 'nicer'. Some are 40 to 50 ish. Overall: Worth a visit. Large selection of stuff and some steals!

Friendly staff! Place fairly accessible by public transport, located within vicinity of cafes and restaurants. However, variety of items is very limited. Mainly selling shirts and jackets. Small selection of accessories (necklace and bracelet) on the 2nd level. Hopefully they will expand to include other items such as pants, bags, electronic, footwear, or even room décor items. For now, visit if you're keen to get shirt or jacket, otherwise you may skip this place without missing out much.
