Was lied to about the price i would receive on item i tried to sell just so i would show up to find out theyre only offering a fraction of the price for no reason. When trying to find out why the price was so low, i was ignored. Very unfriendly people. Do not recommend.

Just sold my MacBook Pro 2016 without any issues to galaxy gadget, strongly recommend anyone who want to sell their laptop to go to them. Shop staff is kind and professional!! Thus, anyone looking to sell their laptop to go to them. Even if you did not contact them prior before going down, you can still bring in your laptop for them to check thoroughly and afterward which they will quote a price to you. I sold my MacBook Pro 2016 and a HP EliteBook. Both device sold to them at a really reasonable price.

I highly recommend this place if you ever want to sell your laptop, I sold my used Acer Laptop to them which was still in a decent condition and they quoted me a fair decent amount of it. The staff there are friendly and kind. Overall if I would to sell my laptop, I would probably come down here again to sell it!

Really horrible experience. Just a buy and sell business that tries to maximise their profits by squeezing the seller. (Carousell is @kimgn, KiM Guan) Unlike other sellers on carousell with more integrity and honesty. Their tactic is to offer you higher prices than what others on carousell are offering to make you turn up at their store. Once there, they find non-existent issues, create a big fuss over small issues and lowball you by cutting the price of nearly everything, expecting the inertia of bringing ur laptops back home again to be too high and you eventually giving in to their garbage prices. If you want to exaggerate small problems, fine. But when you pull out problems out of thin air just to save that few bucks by claiming issues such as battery, thats when it gets really frustrating. (And this was confirmed when a better carouseller in the same business bought my laptop after checking that it was flawless). I do not endorse such a line of business and I hope everyone steers clear and looks for better avenues. TLDR: Stay away from @kimgn on carousell because he airplane's you to his shop and lowballs you after explicitly providing a quote.

I have received a quote of my laptop thru someone via carousell for an amount of $70 , about 12 days ago there was no other questions asked except i have mentioned the model of my laptop. Today afternoon , i have travelled all the way to their office with my quoted laptop and after checking my laptop was quoted for $30!!! Saying my battery is not good . Then why quote $70 without any conditions or questions asked and till i travelled there then quote me less! Waste my time ! Dont advertise to buy back when you cant afford to pay the quoted amount.

I have never given a 1 star review but this transaction truly deserves one. In short: uses good price to bait customers, only to re-quote a low price during actual transaction. I clearly communicated the problems with my laptop and was given a decent price (even double confirmed). Unfortunately, when I got to the stall, he told me that the price was for "good condition" and re-quoted me a price that was half of the initial stated price. A very good tactic of baiting customers and wasting their time ... Please clarify the actual price before dealing with them.

Sold my Aftershock (bought at $1.7k) to them, which took around 20 minutes. Initially they quoted me $250 because my window key and Z key were spoilt. But then they found that my battery was dead so they quoted $200. I took it because I don't know anything about computers, and the market. But thanks, I guess.
