★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is very nice and near mrt. The hotel’s transportation is very convenient. The rooms are going to be generally clean. Amenities in the room are fantastic. I have my favorite thing right in the front office. Prices for weekday stay was very very affordable. I am pleased to be back here next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I stayed in a double room which was a good size. The dorm of 12 was a huge room. Rooms were very clean. Their staffs are friendly and really approachable and helpful. The guys running the place were very friendly and helpful but there is a lot of things to work on with the facilities.

I very much enjoyed the lobby to just hang around, plus there was super fast WiFi there ;) free toast and peanut butter, Nutella in the morning and free coffee and tea all day round. Very good price for Singaporean standards

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to the area just for along weekend and this hotel was perfect. Great location right near the train station and easy on and off for most major roadways. The staff was super friendly and the amenities were great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Gap Year Hostel for about five days and it's been awesome. The beds were really clean, the common room was always airy, the bathrooms were never dirty. They even offered to do my laundry for free! The staff were also equally amazing. I definitely recommend staying here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect hostel with very convenient location. 5 min walk from Boon Keng mrt exit C. Very nice comfortable capsule. The staffs (Brian and killa) were very friendly. And they hv a very nice Panasonic Microwave. Love the happy ice ice cream vending machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I enjoyed the stay at Gap Year in 2019. Staffs were friendly, especially the owner. Rooms were good. We booked a family room of four. Hope we can visit Singapore and go gap year again after covid is over. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because of travel restrictions started last year, I had difficulties to find a good accommodation. Thanks to my friend's recommendation, I ended up staying in this hostel for few months. Thanks to Brian Yee for his friendly assistance. Recommend this place for everyone.
