Poor service...staff not friendly..very rude..especially the night shift staff...encounter twice with this lady staff(night shift)transfer her to other outlets..cz very sickening her attitude,do not know how to serve customer,does not know how to serve customer with respect..very bad attitude and always give the sour face..do something,cz i am regular customer..tis kind of attitude is unacceptable,unprofessional

All their staff regardless Indian or Chinese , both r having attitude problem, especially the wear spectacle Chinese guy , rude and no respect given , spend your money somewhere else better

My family and I, we are regular customer at GEM mart. Your night shift staff she is very unprofessional, very rude and never smile at all. Been served by her twice in a row and still the same attitude.

I am a regular customer here and the night shift staff which is a lady, is very rude and disrespectful. Encountered with her many times and she always gives an arrogant/sour face. Very bad customer service.

Is it possible not to close at middle of the night? Been there for a few day but a close sign were hanging at the door with a chair blocking ppl from entering. Saw a staff inside working too.

I am regular customer, recently theres a new staff at gem mart, the cashier indian lady. She is extremely rude and give million of excuse when i asked for receipt, she even yelled at me for just asking receipt. i bought 13 items of mashed potatoes but i only get 11, 2 of the mashed potatoes is missing and i paid for 13 mashed potatoes. Poor service and the worst GEM Mart!!!

Dismissive and unhelpful staff. Disingenuous advertising for cashless payment methods as well. I was running errands for the day and stepped in to get a drink. I forgot to bring my wallet and have recently lost my ATM card. However, I have my credit card and phone with me, with which I was able to make payments, even taking the bus, using PayLah and GrabPay throughout the day. I needed a drink as I have not anything to eat or drink for hours. I saw from the decals outside that the shop accepted DBS PayLah! I also seem to recall my partner paying using PayWave previously before. However, when I asked to pay by PayLah (I was nothing but polite because my parents taught me better), the counter staff, curtly told me "No". They do not accept PayWave either. I would give them the benefit of the doubt here because I may have remembered wrongly. But the decal sayign that they accept DBS PayLah! is very clearly displayed. The whole time, the staff treated me with disdain. And ignored when I was visibly distressed and told them i will withdraw through a cash advance. In the end, I told them to cancel my order. I am sorely disappointed in the shop to be honest, as I am a regular customer and I often buy from their store on my evening walks and when I am running errands in the neighbourhood. I also often buy cat food from them to feed the neighbourhood cats. Please just take your business a little further down to the convenience shops run by aunties and uncles who are more deserving of your support in today's difficult economy.
