I walked into store but didn't get anything. Looks like a place for many chinese confectionaries, especially since it is Chinese New Year now, and there are many CNY cookies available for sale. The unique ones are as you see, white rabbit flavoured and durian flavoured confectionaries. Seems like there's an online order system, where you can pick up your orders. They make cakes as well, and many other cny snacks. Might come to try one day. Giving 4* because it looks like a warehouse that is rather disorganized, and limited walking space. Might change my review once I buy something here.

I have walk pass nex, my grandma mention that she would like to have traditional egg roll. I find it not so sweet and the CNY stuff is not that sweet too. Will buy again next year. It is convenient to buy it online too. 2020 ???? This year still Covid-19, I feel disappointment as When purchase from shopee. The person said that shopee and Qoo10 the same. Need to buy 3 the same as it is given discount price can't mixed as their management arrangements. If u want different item as need to goes down to the main shop to purchase it. It is not convenient plus need to carry the items all by myself. For pineapple tart also can't mix with the new item. All need to buy 3 the same as discounted price. If not, got to pay each item but not worth it. We don't even know whether is it nice to eat for the New items, if we buy for 3 and we also wanted to buy other then the price will be all higher. so disappointed this new year. ? I just give them an idea, when u put the items need to put cupboards to support it. They have to see case by case themselves but end up, the person told me that is management that provides plastic bag only for the delivery to pack. Wow... My blood pressure goes up... Can't talk anymore. I been thinking, is it they have earn more then everything can't accept it? They can't give and take still covid period. The person should think before call and give me a sad new. They should give us a certain amount to purchase it and not push the customer away like no way out. I'm not that kind of mean person as earlier have plan with my young nephew so I have purchase a few items with them for my grandma and my family. Have not try yet.

Bought over 15 boxes of wedding cakes and distributed to relatives. Parents informed me that one of the tau sa piah was moldy. This was within 5 days of receiving the order. The wedding cakes had no manufacture date or expiry date indicated.

Bought from lazada, found out later it was a coupon thus self collection is required. Wanted to cancel the order, was not allowed to. Called the shop about collection before heading down, self collection experience was very bad. Told to wait, but the staff did not remember the collection and only remembered after prompting again. She had to packed infront of me, despite online order and calling beforehand for collection. Very disorganized, very messy workflow, and saw workers smoking while carrying opened goods of opened food.

I have been eating their pineapple tarts for years usually during cny since 5 years ago and they are one of my favourite old school pineapple tarts. Really nice packaging with the tin cans for their products. I’m not sure whether they have an issue with online delivery since most bad reviews are related to that but I find it heartening that an old school store like this still delivers pineapple tarts and traditional snacks that is hard to find in Singapore. ?

Gin Thye’s pineapple balls are absolutely yummy. Is buttery and melt in your mouth goodness. Highly recommended!

A place selling traditional wedding cakes & candies. Prices are decent but you can get cheaper ones outside. Personally, i feel cheaper if can grab their online sale then do site collection, if convenient, would be more value-for-money. Whatever promotional prices advertised online will not be offered at shop.
