Good Taste AMK (Szechuan & Hotpot)

So yummy!! Used the fave voucher which was a steal. Good portion size, highly recommend adding the large intestine and eggplant. 小辣 was just nice, slightly towards the salty side but delicious nonetheless.

Mlxg is reasonably priced and good. Medium spicy is not spicy for me. Beers price here are also competitive. Had pan-fried dumplings but it's actually deep fried, so the dumpling juice had been dried out, not recommended. Overall great place for good dinner at good price$$. Seats are limited, better to make reservations.

Tasty food and down to earth friendly service. Reasonable prices, ranging from $9 to $17 per plate. Beyond hotpot, they sell a good variety of simnple and tasty chinese stir-fry dishes, both spicy and non spicy). The chef has fine culinary feel and balance and didn't overdo the "ma" 嘛 in his dishes.

underrated mala, definitely deserves more than 4 stars. usually i order delivery hotpot but this time i ordered their sides and realized mala hotpot really undersells the skills and taste of chinese culinery. I ordered the tomato soup and tofu century eggs, they're incredible. the tomato is mashed into the entire red soup, with bits of slices of tomato. The century eggs with garlic bits in it is fragrant with the red sauce which also flavors the tofu thoroughly, not to mention both these dishes cost less than 6 dollars with a good serving. Awesome and amazing food at this place! Their address on Google is incomplete, for anyone looking for this place, just walk towards the entrance of AMK polyclinic and this restaurant is right next to it. I have always ordered Mala Xiang Guo from them on Grab/Foodpanda because the flavours are not too overwhelming for my SG taste buds. Yesterday, I decided that I should pay them a visit in person and O have to say, there were no regrets at all! The dishes are cheaper to eat there than when ordering online and the food is just delectable when they serve it hot from the kitchen. We ordered a plate of fried rice and I implore you to do the same, the wok hey is simply perfect and the dish though simple really showcases the culinary skills of the chef! Definitely see myself returning MANY more times!

Good price for the grilled fish. The taste is rather decent, ordered medium spicy but it tasted more like level 1 spicy. But that's perfectly fine ?

? Pork with Garlic Sauce ? Not astounding, pretty average. Not like it's very delicious. The fried mushroom wasn't crispy which I didn't like. ? Waiting time for food only, probably about 15mins or so. All items ordered arrived pretty quickly. ? Not affordable, not value for money. Around $18 per pax. Could find better offerings out there tbh. ? Probably will not visit again.

Small place with limited seats to dine in, but the ambience was good enough to hang out with friends or colleagues. Have a wide variety of dishes for selection, food taste was slightly above average, I felt, but still quite authentic. They don't charge GST for now, but their service charge still applies. Will return to try other dishes if I'm nearby again.
