★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being let down by a couple of tourist focused shops this place sorted me out. They really know their stuff and will try and sell you the most appropriate bit of kit, not just the most expensive. The place is packed with kit, but if they don't have something they will probably be able to get it in a couple of hours. If you are a visitor to town and want some solid advice or even a resident I would recommend this place. I guess you don't keep in business for 47 years by chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful in offering their services and ensuring that you get the best of what you'll need from your hobby. Always there but yet not pushy. Don't be put off by the condition (and messiness) of the shop as they are veterans in this market for well over forty years! They supply Nikon (authorised dealer), Canon, Leica and anything else that you could possibly need (even if they don't have stock, they'll try to source it for you).
In a word - great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest yet probably the best-service camera shop in Singapore. It is ran by two borthers who really know about camera and photography. Their price is very competitive even compared to HK and USA. They are very patient in understanding your needs and not what they are trying to sell. They will help you to source for out of stock items and give you accurate timing on its availability.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gope's Foto & Film have an excellent customer service. I went there to get my DSLR and was served by Sunder who is very knowledgeable and professional. He is very helpful and patience in going through the basic and throwing in tips here and there on the things to take note, how to store your camera and so on.
I like how he asked and recommend the kits without being pushy at all. The after sales service is always tip top and Sunder always responded fast and promptly.
For the price of the products they are definitely one of the cheapest in the market. Highly recommended to get your kits and gears from them be it amateurs or pros!
Ps: Look for Sunder if you are new.
