Our fav place for late supper, that is full of variety. We wanted to have a clean tasting supper, so we ordered the sweet potato porridge. Life hack, do request for sauce to go with with porridge. The FUYONG Egg, is beautiful on the outside, looks like round and cute. And on the inside, full of substance and ingredients, all of it for just $6. We also order the Pork with the preserved veg. Savoury and crunchy, goes very well with the plain porridge. Lastly, the sambal Clams, that turned our meal to a not so clean meal. It was the first dish we wiped out.

I must be one of the last Singaporean to discover this place. For the range of dishes on the menu, the quality and the price, this is the place in Singapore to eat Taiwan Porridge. The pork liver claypot dish is simply the best. Highly recommended.

Great simple hearty warm porridge . Unlimited summore. Didn't really try a lot of the dishes when i went. But the fish and the egg tofu is quite nice. The porridge served here is like a in-between of a congee and teochew porridge.

Comfort sweet potato porridge that came with a wide selection of small dishes. The steamed offerings were a tad too limited for likings, ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰ meat was tough, 咸鱼肉ι₯Ό is such a small serving for $7! Other dishes lacked the wok hei that a usual tze cha stall would have and was hoping for a bit more oomph from the sambal lala and cereal prawn - both had flat tastes. ηŒͺ肝 is delicious but it was served with limited large pieces and many odd sized small triangular pieces. Limited internal seats for 30 pax, mostly outdoor seats that mirrored Malaysian street foodfare. You will find ample carpark littered along the main street.

Great food, prompy service. Portions may be on the smaller side especually the fu yong omelette which was small, cute and round but surprisingly full of tasty ingredients. Pork with preserved vegs and stir fried spinach were great too. Sweet and sour fish was a tad dry and thin. Aiyu jelly was nice but had too much ice. Sweet potato porridge is free-flow!

The last time we where here was before CoVid19 times. Wifey had craving for sweet potato porridge and rave about the enjoyable dining experiences we had then here at this joint, especially the times when she was very pregnant with our baby gal We ordered the following: 1. ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰ 2. Spicy La La 3. Hot plate Venison 4. Cuttlefish Kang Kong 5. Bean Sprouts with Salted Fish 6. Sweet potato porridge / white rice (free flow) The reason why we liked it here previously was that all dishes (except for ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰) are only cooked upon order and dishes are served with high doses of wok hei. This time round, we were not disappointed. Food quality was as good as before but portions do feel smaller. I cannot remember them serving ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰in a saucer previously. The portion does serve 3 adults sufficiently although one of us is a small eater Pricing is on the steep side if you compare against teo chew porridge but that’s not a apple to apple comparison. If you compare them with a zi char eatery with air-con dine in place, the pricing would seem competitive (although the air-con fail to keep the room temperature at under 24 degrees celcius) Serving staff were attentive and prompt. Not polished but efficient.

Comfort food after heavy CNY meals. Relatively lighter but can be filling as there are too many tempting and familiar dishes to order in small sizes. Some of the favourites are ζ’…θœζ‰£θ‚‰ (preserved vege with belly pork), 咸鱼肉ι₯Ό (salted fish meat cake), and juicy lala that blends well with the sweet potato porridge. Service was prompt and staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back from time to time.

To me, this is the place to go to for that comforting bowl of porridge. My favourite dishes are what is shown here in the picture. The preserved vegetable with pork here is the best. The meat is tender and preserved vegetable very soft. Their omelette is also a favourite and this one has minced pork in it. I usually go for the fried bean sprout with salted fish but this time I went for the fried cabbage with dried shrimp instead which will be one of my favourites here from now on. The aroma of wok hei makes this simple dish quite an extraordinary one. The best part is that the potato porridge is refillable!
