★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this pre-packed sea cucumber at Giant hyper-mart in Tampines. Selected a pack after browsing through the freezer. The product reeked of a very fishy smell when the packaging has been cut open. It was probably because the innards had not been removed prior to freeze-packing and the sea cucumber had to be rinsed several times before it could be diced up for frying. I braised 2 of the sea cucumbers with garlic & soya sauce for about 20
minutes. Tasted crunchy. Can be eaten as it is or stored in air-tight glass containers & placed in the fridge. It could also be added in when frying vegetables such as broccoli & kai lan. Recommended!
