Bought a used 2B bike with them during December 2021. Staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival and viewing. Saw a bike I am interested in and told them that I am a new rider and need some advice and help with choosing. Same as every other sales places, I was told the standard sales pitch that you can find at most of the 2nd bike shop. Decide to proceed and deal with them as the price and condition looked pretty decent. Got friends to assist in inspecting before closing the deal. A few items that we discussed with the workshop to change before we deal, 1. Bike chain was rusty, request to change new one 2. Change engine oil and filter 3. Change the front tyre as it has worn out 4. Connect IU to ignition instead of battery 5. Overall condition and understanding of bike is that it suffered a drop which cause some scratches and the side and everything is good after their inspection Rode off and came back after 1 week as throttle is not reactive sometimes during moving off. Workshop found out the fuel filter is clogged and proceed to change new one. Issue solved after that. IU was not changed to ignition but that was a small issue Sent my bike for a detailed wash 1 month later and found out that the chain was not changed. It was merely lube well to cover the rusts. The cleaning of chain exposed the real condition of the chain. Went back to get the chain replaced but was required to pay as it was “out of warranty” after purchase Headed down to another workshop recommended by fellow bikers and got my friend to go down and get them to do an inspection for me again. Found the following issue, 1. Tyres were in bad conditions. Was lucky that I did not skid. Non of the tyres were new and infact has been kept very long and rubber has hardened. 2. Front fork was misaligned and was deem such damage could not be more than just a “slight drop” Other miscellaneous stuff that I was told I should be getting are like spare keys and stock part for the fuel tank cap. Called back to ask about the status and they say unable to find. I agree that there are many incident here that I as a new rider is inexperienced about and could have done better like performing my own checks to ensure conditions are good before taking over. However there are certain safety aspect such as tyres and chains that could potentially fail halfway during riding that raise concerns on the quality of work that the workshop provide. Could have stated that they did not want to change and I would have replaced it myself at my own cost if I really want to instead of letting me ride off and thinking everything is good. Overall, only come to this place if you know your stuff. Else it would certainly be an unpleasant experience for those who knows nuts about bikes.
