Came all the way to try their hor fun because they appeared on two food blogs - can't remember which. This place looked much quieter than their hugely popular neighbouring tse char stall just at the next block, and we had our doubts when we saw a patron eating something that looked less than appetising. We were pleasantly surprised, and the hor fun tasted much better than it looked. Just enough wok hey, and it wasn't overly seasoned. We had a plate of vegetables to go with it too that looked and tasted decent. If you are ever in the area, give this a shot.

The Chao Da Mee fen was good as reviewed, but the 3 other dishes: fried veg with floss, chai por with θ±†θ…οΌŒθ±†δΉ ιΈ‘ε— I've ordered were too salty to my taste.

The 4 stars is for the service !!!!! Very friendly lady whom offered us tissue and was not a tad worried that we will run away. They ran out of kailan and recommended this salted egg Kang king instead. The portion is generous and best shared in a group of 3-4. Chye poh horfun can get a tad salty, so ask for reduction if you prefer. Overall, a satisfying meal at 9pm.

Oops forgot to take pic for Salted fish fried rice ?. Medium size $8. Fried Mee Sua - ? Tasty? . Not many ZhiChar have this on their menu. Yee Mee - Can eat. Salted fish fried Rice - Another of my fav to try. ?? . Something different from other ZhiChar. Place to seat limited. Wouldn't say a comfortable place to dine. Not windy nor cooling. A bit cramp tough. Food wise for $8, no actual seafood besides the small prawns. Would be great if they would add ?? other than just fish cake pork.

Interesting eats and find. Can try if in this area. $6.50 for burnt beehoon. The crispness made the dish interesting. Every other bite has seafood and deep fried lard to pair with the dryness. You'll pay for what you get. Must take their chilli and if you're a lime person can sprinkle some over the dish.

This Zhi char stall food are very delicious! One of the chef used too cool in 5star hotel! I recommend the Chao da burnt bee hoon, Prawn paste chicken, prawn roll, dong Po Rou and the chef specialist.

Some hit and miss. I like the chay po kway teow but the chow tar been hoon could be more burnt. Friendly staff provided with free soup because of the long wait between dishes.
