Happy MamaPapa Catering costs more than most other tingkat caterers. And that's fine, because we expect to be given better quality food - we order from a separate company for dinner, and the food from Happy MamaPapa Catering is worse than many other tingkat companies we have ordered from the past 3 months. Yet it cost $200 more, compared to other caterers per month for 1 meal (LUNCH ONLY, NO RICE). I ordered from them because I thought they would provide better food quality for my aged parents and healthier recipes compared to other caterers but it turned out they give dishes like fried fish balls, fried potato wedges and deep fried foods.... Goodness me! These are very cheap dishes! Yet per meal it costs $11/pax! We pay $660 for lunch only (30 days). I think you may be better off ordering from Grab Food every day - at least you can choose exactly what you want to eat on the menu than be restricted to cheap quality foodstuff which don't taste good at all. And certainly the food looks NOTHING like the pictures on their website - don't kid yourself into thinking you're getting a nourishing meal, with the higher price paid. I won't be continuing after my 30 days contract is up. Customers won't mind paying for better quality, but they don't like being taken for a ride. A BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

I have tried 2 other caterers but none as bad as this one. As mentioned by other authentic reviewers, the reviews here are all fake especially those written by expats. I tried their 7 days trial meal and on the first day, my meal was delivered at 7.30pm when it was stated latest 7pm on the invoice. Apart from being late, the food looks worse than the chai fan stall at my house. I ordered their flavored rice and dessert as well. The green bean soup on my first day was sour and spoilt. If you don't cherish your new customer, I don't think it's a company worth giving any support. Bad food is one thing but spoilt food is just dangerous. I could have ended up in the hospitalized as I am pregnant right now. Nothing is fresh about the food. It seems like they just dabao from chai fan stall and charge you a premium. One day, I kept the soup immediately after it was delivered as the delivery came at 7.30pm and I had already gone down to buy my own dinner. The next day lunch, I heat up and tried the soup, it was spoilt and sour. So obviously, the soup was cooked 2 days ago. Even home cook soup could have lasted at least 1 day. Anyway, apart from the prawns and vegetables, the rest of the food was a torture to eat. It was not fresh, some were burnt. The soup was the worst, it smelt and tasted stale and bad. I threw the soup away most of the time. One of the soup had a bug inside as well and the chicken had weird jelly like goose bumps. The food received was always not according to the menu and there was 2 days that I had the exact similar vegetables. Description wrote mushrooms but there was never any mushrooms seen. The delivery timing was also not consistent. They probably use a third party delivery app like lalamove as it was always a different person and sometimes my food smelt like cigarettes. So obviously they don't have a lot of customers. Conclusion: order chai fan is much better than this catering who claims to be healthy when their ingredients are not at all fresh. A company who claims to be feeding elderly healthy food but I really pity those elderly who actually had to suffer eating food that are not fresh at all. AVA should totally check on the cleanliness of this catering. I am totally glad my nightmare is over. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!

Due to covid and my mum lost her care takers. I found this high rated tingkat and claimed to be very suitable for older folks. The food displayed in the internet loos so good but in reality is otherwise. Serving most of the Vege is napa cabbage with sometime Cai Xing and one time of broccoli. The food came in in irregular hours and imagine old folk need to re heat themselves? Sometime food delivery and is cold even at 1130M.. not sure how long the food being cooked. Few of the dishes especially the tofu is sour , I believe the tofu may not be fresh and probably prepared overnight . The pork rib soup where the ribs is so hard to chew ! See the pictures attached compare to their website display. Looks appetizing ? I stopped after 10 days order.

Bought the 7-day trial package for my elderly mom who just underwent surgery. I am so glad and relieved the 7 days trial is over now - missed delivery with no notification, sent seafood when I specified no seafood, food is really really bad. I am very impressed though by their daily dedication to create accounts solely to give a 5-star rating to themselves and just to override the real comments… very entertained too, so for that - one star ;)

I should have read through the review posted here instead of just a mere look at the overall rating. Hi all, please take my agony as a lesson learnt. Do not trust the paid review as stated by many others here. They spilled the entire soup for 2 straight days and the sauce of the meat dish as well. I m a working parent. I ordered tingkat to save time cooking and cleaning. Due to this mishap, I have to spend more time clearing up the mess created by their sub standard delivery as a result. It leaked through the bag as well and onto my floor and common corridor of my neighbour. The food menu was replaced numerous time as well and most of the time it was the tantalising and more expensive dish stated in their menu that was replaced. Totally disappointed.

These 5 star reviews have got to be paid or incentivised reviews. Take a look at the food I received yesterday and today. Repeated item (tofu), vegetables with barely any nutritional value. This falls way below expectations for a meal that costs $24.

Tried their 7 days catering. First few days food tasted very salty, thus gave them feedback. Food do not taste good at all, look like some leftover food, especially the soup with not much ingredients. Not recommended, but if you want give it a try just order their 7 days trial first. Just my thoughts.

If only i could give them a minus 5 star review.The food are horrible.it taste extremely salty and oily.The local hawker food is hundred times better than them.It look nothing similar to the websites and it cost so expensive. we paid almost $500 for this low quality food.I had tried and called them to ask for refund but they insist that its non refundable. I will definitely bring this complain to case .Obviously the good review is written by someone that paid by them. The food is meant for my poor two parents that had been infected with covid. Upon searching for catering company online I found this company where they claimed to make healthy food that has less salt no msg. The food that were send were so salty and oily. It is absolutely not for elderly people. When i tried to comment on Facebook they will instantly block me from commenting. It is pretty shady. Update. This is the respond from the management. Once again, we are sorry that the food you received is not to your expectation. However we have operated for some time, we do have customers who really enjoy our food and continue renewing with us or even contribute to the 330+ Google reviews and other platforms. But we can't deny that we also have complaints from customers as well. Hence, we do follow up case by case to get feedback for our Kitchen team to improve. Attached are some of the good reviews, if you would like to see, and even until now there's a customer paying for renewal of contract. Our kitchen team and management team do take in our customers' feedback and we also appreciate you sending us the feedback so we can discuss with the kitchen team on how to improve on our dishes or menu to try our best to accommodate all of our customers' taste buds. We also have been doing food tasting meetings as part of our procedure to improve our service to you. We also like to highlight that our food is indeed less salt, less oil and no msg. We really do value your feedback. However as explained previously ,we are really unable to proceed with the refund as you demanded last week. As you have ticked agree on the terms and condition that once order is placed, we are unable to do early termination and refund. As of now, what we can do would be, without any admin fee charges we can help to transfer your package by changing the address to another delivery address free of charge if you would like to. Alternatively we could also help to check if the remaining balance is able to convert to a food platter. In order to prevent food wastage, the last suggestion we would be able to come up with is that we can send the food to elderly and can do charity under your behalf. We have been sending free meals to the needy elderly, with the remaining dishes after packing for our customers. Do let us know which would be a better way for us to arrange for you.
