An excellent school for both aspiring actors and professionals to increase their knowledge and polish their skills.

A safe place where everyone's allowed to explore more. The only place in Singapore I trust to hone my skills in acting thus far. Great job hcac!

I attended the Art of Writing One Act Plays Workshop, run by James Thoo at the HCAC. At the end of the 8 weeks I not only had a much better understanding of the fundamentals of good dramatic writing, but had also been welcomed into a community of creative, loving and passionate individuals, committed to telling the best stories they could.

HCAC is more than a school and performance venue, it is a community and hub for creatives, performers, makers and doers of all kinds. Whether you are new to the performing arts, or an experienced artist looking for a place to train, perform or teach, I strongly recommend you get in touch with HCAC and explore the opportunities available there.

Great little acting school nestled in a shophouse the middle of one of the most interesting neighbourhoods in Singapore, Little India. A general hub for any sort of theatrical arts - learning, practicing, and performance - all under one roof. I've only had the pleasure of attending a show here, but would love to come back for a class some day. The staff are all very nice, professional and friendly. And from what I can tell, the students and Teachers are all very close with one another. Good vibes only. P.S. There are 2 other reviews here that are clearly fake - they were posted within the same 2 hours of each other by people who created accounts just to slam this establishment as their first post (amateur hour!). Don't believe the haters / liars.

I attended both the Fundamentals of Acting Workshop, and the 4 Week Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting (Intro) Workshop! The experience was golden, and Kamil Haque the instructor was also great, he was professional, and incredible engaging! I would strongly recommend both workshops to any human beings regardless of age and gender! Because beyond gaining an overall understanding of acting and how to prepare, through the process you may also gain insights on what has been holding you back, and even the courage to overcome it!

This is the best place to take acting/theater classes in Singapore. HCAC is a safe space environment where you’re encourage to let your creativity flow. For beginners or advanced actors, always a great learning experience!
