Heart of God Church - Level 4 Heart of God Church

This is the first place that I’ve ever felt so welcomed and at home.. I came to church 15 years ago and at that time the church was much smaller with about 600-700 members but everyone was so welcoming.. Even when I was in the queue in the toilet people smiled at me! And when the praise and worship started, I cannot help but cry because the presence of God was so strong.. When Pastor How preached, every word really spoke to me.. This is the place where I found a purpose in life and felt so believed in.. My pastors and leaders have always cared not just about my spiritual life but in every area of my life and I am so thankful and grateful to them.. I also love how we have systems and processes and have a place for everyone in church whether you and young or not as youth haha.. Fast forward to today, I am living my best life with my husband, great friends and my daughter who os 2.5years old really loves church.. She would come up to me and say she want to go church and she enjoys it very much.. She also treat heart of God church like her home to the extend of rolling around the floor in church and not wanting to go home haha.. Never regret getting planted in this church!!

Gosh.. Never expected my life to change so much when I stepped into this church as a 15-year-old and found God. “Use the church to build people, not the people to build the church.” This was what I heard often, and this became a reality for me. I was young and unexperienced but I had many opportunities to learn new skills in the ministry. Serving in the Decor ministry, I was believed in, and trained in house..! Cause of all that I’ve learnt in church, and with my Pastors’ belief, I eventually started my own floral business..! Right now I’m living my dream for God!!! 10/10 recommend this youth church- it has truly built me in these 16 years.

I really enjoy all the transformational messages that have really changed my life & grown me in my character!! Every week, I feel so challenged to grow to be a better spouse / friend / daughter!! Super grateful for all the resources that HOGC has provided for us to grow even on a weekday (Love the podcast, training portal & personal growth resources etc!)

I first came to HOGC when I was 15 years old. And more than a decade later, I can't imagine how my life would be if I didn't! Coming to this church and choosing to make it my spiritual Home is one of the best decisions I've made in my life (aside from being a Christian, of course). It is THE environment that countless young people like myself found our relationship with God, friends for life, and the faith to imagine and dream bigger for our lives. Not only are we taught Christian character, but we are also given many opportunities to apply it and put it to the test. Not only are we loved, but we are also inspired to volunteer and serve. That is also how I discovered my purpose and passion in communication and in helping others. Our pastors believe that "Youths are leaders TODAY, not just tomorrow." And now, this love and belief in young people that they can do great things for God has become part of the church's "DNA"! I guess that is why even a 6 year-old who is interested in photography would be entrusted with an expensive DSLR to shoot photos in our weekend services. So, in summary – 5/5. If you want to make a difference in your life and in the lives of others, especially if you are young (OR young at heart), this is the place you've been looking for!

Amazing church! 16 years ago, when I stepped into HOGC as a 15 year old, I was believed in, empowered and given many opportunities to grow! Today the church remains the same in its mandate to believe in young people! Week in and week out, I see young people serving and believed in. Truly a world class church with the best environment for young people to grow up in! You got to check it out for yourself.

Having attended HOGC for awhile now, I must say that the people here are really friendly and sincere!! The messages shared every weekend are full of biblical truths while still being relevant and applicable in my everyday life! Beyond that, I am constantly amazed by the excellence and thought process placed in every detail of the service! Definitely a church to visit! ?

Amazing atmosphere during praise and worship. Love how the young people here are so passionate in serving God. Sermons preached by the pastors are theologically-sound and so relevant to daily life. Not only do the pastors impart head knowledge of the bible, but also faith and spiritual truth that are applicable to Christian living. Love my CG here too.

When my friend first brought me here, I was so in awe of everything. Everyone in this church was so friendly! I love how they preach simple yet impactful messages that are practical. They are relevant and definitely for a church for youths!
