★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: I’ve been back to Heybo for lunch bowls a couple time since this review and had to add a star because the make your own bowls are pretty darn good and affordable, compared to similar spots in town.
This cost 5.50 and is recommended on the menu “for two people.” Pretty unimpressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Kampong Table bowl - mixed grains, grilled lemongrass chicken, crispy tempeh, Onsen egg, cabbage salad, sweet potato turmeric, lime wedge and green chutney.
A very yummy bowl and the portion was very generous. A little too much for me though. I love the tempeh, just nicely done with a nutty flavour. The chicken was tender and flavourful. The green chutney is paired very well with everything. Will be back again.
P.S. they have an opening promotion of 20%. Come quickly while it’s still on!
