S	Sheryl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EXCELLENT Mediterranean food! EXCELLENT SERVICE in a very cosy and homely corner! We had their food a couple of times and were never disappointed! Their homemade HUMMUS and dips are a must try - possibly one of the best I’ve ever had :) Love their Tabbouleh salad and sauce that goes with it! Tangy and refreshing :) I’ll also recommend their beef cheeks cooked in stout that melts in your mouth and kebabs :) Be sure to end of your meal with the owner’s signature Tiramisu that is homemade with love!
K	KM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food in a cosy setting. We ordered the hummus, kale salad, clam chowder soup, and the beef cheek dish. Love all of them especially the salad and hummus! Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu too!
S	Shi family on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With friend’s recommendation, we tried this quaint cosy eatery tucked in Coronation Plaza. The external facade reminded me of Orchard Shopping Centre and Far East Shopping Centre. It was really pleasant to be served by Marcus. The lamb with mint chutney lacked the mint after-taste which I would have expected. Lamb was well done. This main course was not as well-seasoned as I would have expected. For the beef cheek stew, a strong taste and fragrant of stout was evident. It was a tad salty for my liking. Clam chowder was flavourful. I was surprised they served saltine crackers to pair with this soup. The kebabs were unfortunately tad dry for our liking.

It’s a small restaurant so make a reservation in advance and you’ll get to preorder your food so you won’t have to wait too long for it. I liked the addition of mint in the tabbouleh salad. My one gripe is that I wish the kale leaves were cut a lot smaller or there was the option to switch to cilantro or some leaf with a softer texture. The midnight hummus is worth a try and was very nice. The kebabs were lovely; the chicken was incredible and the lamb wasn’t gamey at all, complemented perfectly with a refreshing mint sauce. The boozy cherry brownie was indeed extremely alcoholic in a good way. Rich without being too cloying, it was the perfect way to end our meal.

Even from the starters, the salad, bread and dips are to die for.. you could just feast on them and forgot to leave room for the mains… which are also amazing! The kebabs were so tender and the fish sooo crispy that you can just eat the fins like crackers ? People are also very friendly so that’s a bonus. Very limited seats though so you’d wanna call in to make a reservation beforehand to avoid disappointments!

The mixed kebabs were amazing and a must try. The hummus with focaccia are wonderfully starters. Will definitely come back to try the other food.

Food is really well prepared and absolutely delicious. Wide range of meat or vegetarian dishes as well and wines and beers. Service is friendly and prompt. Definitely worth a visit!
C	Carmen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was at Hillcrest Grubs earlier this month and the level of service that I received from the time I made the online reservation to after our meal was truly exceptional. The owners and staff were thoughtful and friendly. It’s a small and cozy restaurant - it does feel like you’re having a meal at a friend’s house. We enjoyed their mixed plate of kebabs the most, the meat was well flavoured and very tender. This is quite possibly the best plate of kebabs I’ve had in Singapore. I highly recommend this place.
