★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t understand the negative reviews by contributors if you don’t comprehend HK styled dimsums
It’s like nailing a coffin with someone alive inside because you not well traveled ?
lol!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in a kopitiam near Tampines interchange. Near enough to walk but there is a bus (299?) That stops nearby for those who're not fans of the local weather. On to the food! Made by a couple from HK, the dim sum is authentic and wallet friendly, most things being below $5. Given the communal nature of dim sum, grab a few friends so that you can sample everything. Menu is not extensive but what they do, they do very well. Must tries are the porridge and Chee cheong Fun

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the price for the taste. Went for breakfast, order charsiu bao but not available. Tried charsiu cheong fun & siaomai, got a bit weird taste in the siaomai like they didn't wash the ingredients? cheong fun taste also no good the filling not fresh & too salty. S$3 each. Not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was at Ho Yun (HK) Tim Sum for lunch.Took a bowl of the pork cubes with century egg congee. It texture was alittle thick and saltish. I liked the shrimp dumpling, fried carrot cake and char siew chee cheong fun.The sesame ball with bean paste was chewy. The har kow was yummy too.Three other items were average but I guessed I had ordered too much fried items.
Will come back again for the steamed dishes and glutinous rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer for close to 20 years. No chili required for me! This is best eaten on its own. People please remember that this is still ultimately coffeeshop stall! For me, the sauce and the smoothness of the Cheong Fun is the highlight. The taste has not changed over the years! There may be better ones found in restaurants but this one resonates with me. This is the one that brings my memories back to those old dim sum shops found in HK, yeah those that you see in old HK drama and it’s likely you will find it hard to even see one around in HK around these days…I am not referring to Char Chan Tang…I am referring to those that really only sell dim sum….now I sound really old!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apologies for the photo shots of half done dim sum as i am too hungry to take them in their wholeness when they come.
One of the best neighbourhood Dim Sum place at Coffeeshops I have tasted for a lon time. I have order the Har Kow, Siew Mai, Fried carrot cakes, spring rolls, prawn chee cheong fun. Will try more of others in future in my next visit and post here again.
The lady takes the extra effort to fry those deep fried snacks like Fried prawn dumplings and Spring rolls back to its crispness, unlike most other dim sum place you see at coffeeshops. I love especially the carrot cakes, spring roll and the Siew mah. Carrot cake is soft and fragrant, spring roll is ok but since I love spring rolls personally, it's one of my higher rating lah. The siew mah is has really the meat sweetness and fragrance of the fresh mushrooms, very recommended. Har Kow is good too. The Chee Cheong fun (prawn type)is ok except sauce is a little on the saltiness side. Perhaps the chef decided to make it more salty as life now is dam salty for most of us in Singapore due to high inflation Hahaha... nah, life is good as long as we are breathing, there is always a better future awaiting for us.
When yoi are around the area here in Tampines, come and give it a try, it may make into one of yoir favourite joints for dim sum visit.
If yoi want a full varieties they offer come early, they close at 7pm and by that time, varieties will be very limited as they don't make more when certain dishes are sold out.
Bon Appetite with Love!
