I came to this shop with my mum to find new light sockets for spoiled ceiling lights. Not only did I get the right socket immediately, when I additionally asked for light bulbs, they recommended us better energy saving lights for toilets, which is surprisingly detail oriented. The light bulb was tested on the spot. Very cool! They also have all sorts of lighting fixtures. Prices are also very worth! I will come back here when I get a new house and need lights. Edit: Btw this district is full of hardware and lighting shops, so if you need a new ceiling lamp or your house need small fixes, this is a good place to start. Can also eat the famous laksa nearby.

I was looking for an exhaust fan and John helped me, gave me suggestions and made sure it was the correct item according to my required dimensions. Would totally recommend this shop to anyone if you have any electrical/hardware needs. Support!

Went to Hong Kwang to get a ventilator for our bathroom after seeing their selection on their website and was greeted by John, a friendly uncle who gave us really good advice! Instead of just selling us the ventilator after we gave him the model number, he actually took time to understand our needs and advised us to purchase the model that’s one size smaller instead (which meant it’s cheaper!) and also gave other tips on other reno considerations. Highly recommend!

I had to replace my living room ceiling fan in short notice and before Chinese New Year and Mr John has exceeded all my expectations. I contact Mr John and purchase was done within 10mins and invoice was issued almost immediately. Installation of my fan was scheduled on a Wednesday and the contractor is also very on time. My whole experience is without any hiccups One of the best things is that Mr John is very quick to respond, unlike many others Mr John is also very patient and gives great advice. He also does after service care and will message after the work is done to see if there are any issues I will definitely go to him from now on for any subsequent works
