★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent chicken rice around Lor Ah Soo area. I ordered white chicken with egg which is quite affordable at $3.00. The portion was generous as it came with a good amount of rice, chicken, cucumbers. Rice was a bit dry, not so fragrant, but the chicken meat was tender and moist. Good to fill up your tummy during lunch time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chanced upon this Chicken Rice stall operated or owned by these 2 young men at Hougang. Their chicken rice is fragrant and the portion is quite generous. I ordered the Chicken rice set (comes with a bowl of rice, meat, an egg and a vegetable of your choice) for only $4.00. Their chicken is served in a way that is not drizzled or loaded with light soya sauce but rather, just a simple splash of Sesame Oil to bring out the fragrance of the chicken. Definitely worth it.
