Hope Community Kindergarten - 20 Tampines Street 43

Pros: My daughter has been attending Hope Kinder since 2010. This year(2013) will be her final year and going to leave for P1. I highly recommend Hope Community Kindergarten(Tampines) to anyone who has concerns about (1)Quality of Teachers, (2)Classroom Environments for study(Air-con), (3)Classroom Hygiene and tidiness, (4)Toilets and cleanliness, (4)Administrative & supports. ***************************************** Principal Name: Mrs. Gladys Alice Leong. Admin. Assistant: Mrs. Wong. ***************************************** Cons: None. In fact, I wanted to Congratulate the School for doing a Good Job and continue keep it up!! Only one regret I have is the Bus Services. The shuttle Bus services(so called,"School Bus" is a Indepandance service provider that support the Kinder. In this case,the quality of service is solely the Responsibility of the Driver Owner and the "Aunty"(Bus Assistant). Since 2010,we had been engaging their services,so it's been 2 and half years. However,as for lately,since the begining of 2013. There was a changed in "Aunty" that is assisting the safety and managing the children in and out the bus. To make my point straight, "she" is a "Controlled-Freak". Since the begining of her duty, she HAD NOT allow kids in the bus to chit-chat even in normal voice volume. Till the extend that she will approach the kids who are in the midst of conversations and give them the "Horrified Look" in order to stop them from continue. My daughter has been sitting together with her best friend since the begining(2010). And they both enjoyed most and looking forwards to the short ride home and that will be their only chance to catch up with each others. Since chit chatting during the classroom time may post distraction to others as well as teacher and thus compromise classroom lesson. So,recently,the supposedly much looking forward Joy-Ride has became a "Prison-Bus-Ride"!! To make matter worse,this "Aunty" Do Not ensure & enforce Seatbelt Safety and seem to show more personal interest with the Bus Driver more than the Safety of the kids while the Bus is in motion. She show more interest in personal chatting with the Driver(Mr.Ho) instead of eyeing on the kids(passengers) while in motion. This behaviours is a potiential Safety issue to the Driver who should mental and physical attention be placed priority on the road and speed.
