β β β β β Worst experience ever!
Feature:
- The Hotel is kinda smelly (maybe from the cigarettes)
- Great Location but not gonna booked here anymore.
Here are some worst experience story:
- When we are checked in, she told us, the last customer haven't check out yet because of there is accident that happen to the last customer and told us to wait for 30 mins. After around 1 hour browse the chinatown, we go back and she said that the last customer still haven't checked out and told us to go back another 30 minutes. At that time i decided to call my OTA to complain, after some checkin the OTA called us and told there is no such of the story and told us to go back to hotel. After that i tried to go back to hotel, and the receptionist give us the room key in a flash.
- After we got into the room, the room is kinda small and not the room that we booked previously. when we chilled a bit in the room, suddenly someone that i don't know use the room key without knock and enter the room and grab some stuff from the toilet. which make us checked out from the hotel.
PS: we only have been check in to the hotel around 1-2 hours and decided to leave the hotel because of the second issues.

β β β β β unreasonable management. did a booking for a elderly with walking difficulty on 15/6 but was told escalator faulty upon calling in to confirm reservation. we ask for refund immediately as elderly can't climb, they insist trip.com where we book from can cancel and refund us but trip.com said otherwise , claim hotel do not agree with refund. hotel staff offered bugis outlet instead. Explained to them that the elderly man only wants to stay in chinatown so that he can walk to the temple on his own in the day. Hotel management stuff insist this is the only choice and no refund will be given..After a good 2 days of argument with the hotel, they gave a 50% refund back to a poor elderly who waited there 4hrs before we manage to get another hotel for him nearby. in between we suggested the amount for the stay to change into credit and when escalator is up, to stay there with and told them we will always book this hotel if they are Kind enough to be flexible in this case. Hotel's higher management rejected this offer. we were disappointed and will never recommend this hotel to anyone

β β β β β One of the worst I have experienced. The room given on second floor. Very noisy and very small. The pictures on dayuse are very deceptive. The toilet looked absolutely disgusting. Also the common walkway I could see all the towels and mattresses on the ground I felt like I was staying in some immigrant hostel.

β β β β β Hotel Calmo, please raise your standards. Worst experience in a hotel.
If i could give this hotel a ZERO RATING, I would. Was not even informed that this hotel was a COVID-19 FACILITY. (We saw chairs and food hung outside some rooms)
-'Concierge' attitude sucks
When we called over, the indian lady manning the front desk has no phone ettiquette. Insisted that we could only check in at 3pm and no early check in. (That's fine) When we reached at 3pm, receptionist was out for lunch and was late from her break time almost 10 minutes. She had kept other guests waiting too. Thus delaying our time.
-From the outside, the hotel looks good. But when inside, it looks like a factory. Old mattreses stacked on top of each other and hotel staff eating in plain view. No lifts and escalators only. Very eerie vibe.
-Room has a VERY musty smell.
-Doors are chipped and wood was exposed.
-Safe was locked. Could not be unlocked.
-Floors are very dirty and slippers aren't provided. Even a 2 star hotel like Hotel 81 provides them.
-TV display is very damaged.
-Toilet itself is fine but toilet door is very dirty, had water stains.
-Bed has other guests hairs. Found 2 strands. Bed sheets were also thin and there were holes in our blanket.
We stayed in the loft room.

β β β β β Very convenientβ location, in the center of Chinatown near Buddha tooth relic temple. Many food court and restaurantβs located near hotel. Price is affordable. Room is small and no refrigerator in room. Service is not good enough.

β β β β β Great location but not clean. Also the front door is not on Tregganu road as stated, had to ask around. Space for One suitcase only. Many steps so beware with luggage. They canβt be bothered to fix the stair lift or the two escalators going down..
