HOTEL CARLTON - Orchard Rd

a good hotel in Singapore. for a biz trip it's a good choice.

Nice hotel located at the city centre, I spent 14 days of quarantine over here, so was an experience of its kind. In fact it doesn’t matter what kind of hotel you stay in for your quarantine the feeling will always be a bit bitter, as your liberty is snatched completely. In spite of all the pain of quarantine the stay was quite smooth. Carlton has big spacious rooms with near to brand new linen, however the upholstery was a bit shabby. The room I stayed at was an executive room, 34 sqm in size, a king size bed with thick sumptuous mattress and two pairs of cool and warm pillows. Bathroom was the most attractive part in the room, with a large bathtub and separate shower area. Everything in the bath was shimmering and glittering and very clean. The staff is quite responsive and helpful. The hotel does have a vast list of amenities but unfortunately I couldn’t experience these owing to my quarantine. An interesting thing, rather adding a sexy flavour to the accommodation was that the room had a direct view into its bathroom, this was possible owing to a transparent glass wall that separated the bathroom and this could be covered by blinds if needed.
