They need to be more courteous towards their customer. Although the recipient is not the one who engage them, it doesn't mean that they should just do their due diligence to close the order. One of their young boy chap called in at 5pm (they knock off at 6 apparently) to make arrangements for delivery of a parcel. However, he kept insisting that only Monday afternoon is available for the delivery, if we were to request for other time slot or day for the delivery, he cannot commit to it. So my mother shared her concern that my family members are working and we are not able to commit into the delivery timing just because he ends work in a hour. My mum requested for more time to make the necessary arrangement and also to check with my family member, however, he just kept barking the same old line that my mum have to arrange it or else we have to pay for additional fee if the item is stored more than 3 days. The discussion got heated up as the boyboy was very arrogant in his tone in the sense that we have to commit or else we will be paying more. As the chat is not going anywhere, my mum ask for the boy's name. He stuttered and his stupidity took over him because apparently, he don't have a name or surname. He then pause the call and handed it to her colleague. (thank God) initially I was angered by such service, but this lady, she came in with intention to solve and help in the matter, which we ended on a good note. In summary, if your operator does not have the thoughts to do his job, then don't do customer service. Go and do a yes man job instead. It doesn't make sense to be calling someone to make arrangement but does not have a backup plan or suggestion if things doesn't suit your way.
