Nestled in AMK is @huazai_frogporridgezichar located inside @johnsoneatery332amk that serve unspeakable joy of piping hot claypot Frog Leg. I choose my usual go to Dry Chilli Frog Porridge. Here @huazai_frogporridgezichar the luscious glorious combination of savoury rich and not overly spicy dark gravy with springy tender texture of frog meat, goes exceptionally well with the thicc velvety porridge. The frog leg here is very meaty too and mind you, it's very addictively delicious. Is very affordable too as they run a Buy Two Get One Free promotion. Besides frog porridge, they also serves Chinese zi char dishes. Some of the must-try dishes include what I tried below, Creamy Butter Prawn. These butter prawns are so creamy in addition to the crispy prawns makes this dish simply irresistible and totally addictive. I regret not getting the large serving ? Ginger & Spring Onion Sliced Fish. The fresh fish is cooked to perfection with a QQ springiness. The sauce has a strong wok hei and gives the slice fish a rich savoury flavour. I love the fragrance of the spring onions and ginger that adds a nice aroma to the dish. Curry Pork Slice Tender pork slices swimming in pool of very fragrant and flavourful curry gravy. The curry tastes good with slight wok hei and would goes well with rice. I like that it didn’t feel oily or has coconut milk, hence the gravy has a good consistency, not too watery nor too thick. Trio Eggs Spinach. Soft and tender baby spinach leaves in a rich broth. The saltiness of the salted egg provides the OOMPH while the century egg provides a good contrast of texture and lends some earthiness to the dish. The generous serving size is a plus point. I actually found this place by accident, was looking for the ipoh curry noodles but it was sold out ? The frog porridge here is super good! Price is reasonable too. The sauce and porridge are both thick. Really hit the spot Will come back again for sure.
