First time renting in Singapore and it was a very bad experience with Huttons. Initially everything was great-friendly, responsive and good communication overall UNTIL we signed the LOI. Our agent was Jo Tan. 1. The tenancy agreement was unreasonably skewed in favor of the landlord. Jo did nothing to facilitate and responded that everyone usually just agrees with whatever is in the contract and expected us to do the same. We ended up communicating directly with the landlord to arrange everything ourselves. 2. We were abroad so we initially agreed that any arrangements deposits and wet ink signatures would be completed upon our return but agent kept chasing us while we were away for a funeral for one and overall communication was very inconsistent with what was initially agreed. 3. We had several outstanding points with the landlord that the agent was aware of and copied in on. Without reading, following up with these items, she mainly kept following up with us about securing the unit. 3. We have finally moved in but with many issues with the landlord. Jo ensured that a professional deep clean would be done and that the developer had their own professional cleaning staff to do so. The apartment was filthy and the landlord mentioned that no deep clean would be conducted and they do not have such professional cleaning staff but rather outsource a basic 1 hr cleaning. 4. We raised these points with the agent and her main response that her duty is with the landlord who is paying her. This is true but don’t think that justifies lying to tenants. Overall the experience was unprofessional and unethical. Please read the tenancy agreement well and get everything in writing confirmed directly by the landlord. Some agents will tell you anything to get the contract through.

If you had never been there, You wont know how it would have assisted in our line of property work. Great Support from the departments made our marketing smooth like baby skin. Great shout out to the Marcomm Team for their great support in every way.

Dealing with one of the worst agent Of Singapore who is from this agency. Made our life hell. Started showing horrible behaviour after we paid our advance. If we knew she will make us so miserable would never ever started the tenancy agreement for this unit. Haven’t moved in yet already scared , wish we would never have paid the advance and found a house where we could live peacefully. Such unprofessional, unreliable as a person as an agent. No complaints against the agency, but people like her could bring whole agency’s reputation down .

A lovely office with nice, friendly and helpful staff. Been here for coming to a year soon, being an agent in Huttons, it has helped us to provide more comprehensive services to our family, friends and clients. Most importantly, the support from the company is great too, love our work apps as it really provide important information and also giving us the opportunities to reach out to more.

Hi, I'm writing this to leave a feedback for R061980B Sean Ho. Sometime last week I told Sean that I have plans to buy a condo, when he asked me if I want it for investment or for own stay. I don't even have an answer. But after some assesment and Q&A with him, I'm able to figure out what I want from the 1st property I purchased. Finally after 5 viewing of different showrooms and project in just 1 weekend. With the help of his knowledge and expertise, I finally settled with one that fits my expectations & budget. Buying a home is a very emotional process, I'm always worried that i might make the wrong decision. I'm thankful for the patience that he had given me despite all the midnight calls and hundreds of questions asked. He never failed to answer it all and make sure I understand.
