★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chicken rice, charsiew and roasted pork were mediocre at best, but this stall serves some sidelined dishes like black pepper chicken, braised pork belly, etc.
The braised pork belly wasn’t all bad, when the stars lined up correctly they can taste pretty good, and the meat can melt in your mouth, on other time, the meat can be tough and bland. Would have gotten 4 stars if the there is consistency.
The 1 dollar plate of bean sprout is a nice addition to the menu.
Oh, the soup can be quite nice sometimes, today’s is watercress.
