β β β β β Im not sure why people have had such bad experiances. I've found IG to be really good, nice app, often get straight through on the phone, reliable service. Zack in SG was very helpful today and sorted out my querries.

β β β β β 2nd time closed my open positions with loss when they did not hit stop loss. Both positions were later profitable. Slow funding in account. Spread was reasonable. Customer service was ok. But I will not continue my account with them again.

β β β β β I was unable to close my positions when its system was down and could only closed my positions at a worse price when it was up again. However, IG refunded me the difference in my profit within 24hrs when I told them of my problem. Impressive! Great job IG Singapore ! Would have given them 10 stars if possible and will no doubt continue trading with them. Keep it up !!

β β β β β It is very tough withdrawing money to my bank account. Iβve sent multiple screenshots of my bank account details to prove my deposit, but the system kept rejecting the screenshot by sending me rejection emails, even though it clearly shows my name, account number, bank name, and the transaction detail to prove the deposit. Iβve emailed the screenshot to the general email address, hope they accept the screenshots. Overall, you will have a feeling that you will never get your money back.

β β β β β Stay FAR FAR FAR AWAY from IG Singapore.
Opened an account with IGM very quickly so they kept their word there. However, when I tried to buy into other products, I was told that it wasn't allowed and I could only buy into CFDs which wasn't what was mentioned when I opened the account.
I had however already transferred funds to deploy, however that turned me off and I then very quickly closed off my account and arranged for the withdrawal of the funds to the designated account number registered with them. Surprise surprise! Suddenly they needed a lot more information from me to return my money back to me.
It's been close to a month since they've asked me for relevant documents which have been supplied to them but NOT A SINGLE PEEP out of them all this time. Bear in mind it's the SAME bank account number registered with them for deposit AND withdrawal. It wasn't even a different bank account like one of the reviewers who mentioned similar withdrawal delays.
No excuse there and Highly NOT recommend anyone to start with IGM, better brokerages with more flexibility out there in the market.

β β β β β Used IG 4-5 years, would have given them 5 stars till I meet Nicholas Eastham, from trading department in London UK, taking my phone call on asking about my funds directly transferred by bank. Normally I transferred through credit card, never had this issue till I try through bank. Not well trained, not helpful at all, very short on phone, when asked about his name and how to spell, mind you we are in Asia and the surname is not common, he told me he already told me 3 times! In a condescending tone as if I do not know English. Finally hang up before my enquiry was resolved. Feedback to compliance department, who overlooked my feedback, after waiting for 2 months, the official response was unsatisfactory, saying that that was not his intention and he did his job and due to high call volume they might be stressed. Excuses. If they are not well trained to handle stress, they should not be customer facing. All Nicholas needs to do was to tell me from bank emails, there is another screenshot that will show the date as proof of payment, simple answer but helps to solve the problem instead of the rude answer that says I cannot help you, help desk and credits cannot help you as well. Saying that the screenshot is rejected because there is no date and there is nothing he can do is very βhelpfulβ. Finally I figured out myself and managed to upload by myself. I question the existence and value of help desk then.
Lastly there are many competitive upcoming platforms, so highly recommended to look out. It is most unfortunate that they lose customers. Now that I look at the reviews of 2.4 overall for IG, I am really not that surprised.

β β β β β NEVER EVER RECOMMEND IT.
First, for account withdrawals, they are asking for unnecessary documents. screen shot of proof of fund transfer where bank information was clearly stated and still get rejected.
Secondly, withdrawal of fund has 0.5% conversion currency charge if you are funding IG account in USD.
Other brokerage like City Index is way better than them.

β β β β β β οΈβ? Never risk transferring money to them. They are like scammers and frauds. Their system is absolutely absurd and like a university student's homework. It's highly defective and full of bugs. I have lost a significant amount due to their system outage and other defects. The T&C and ridiculous and only talks about what they are not responsible for and not about their responsibilities.
As others have already mentioned is easy to transfer money to them but hard to get it out.
Take it seriously and stay away at all costs. I was not fortunate to read the Google map review before endangering my hard-earned money with this platform.
Their internal complaints department runs by a single person and absolutely painful to deal with.
