Yuyu is very detail oriented and she gave one of the better advices from the planning process to the implementation process. Being new home owner who doesn’t know a single thing about renovation, I felt very safe with Yuyu around to guide us. Her designs match what I have in mind and she can totally convey our thoughts easily. Yuyu is also very hands on as she heads down to the site often to oversee the renovation, saving us a lot of time. She is also able to rectify issues in an efficient manner. I will really recommend her as your designer!

It had been a pleasant experience working with Mandy. Although the design that Mandy had come up with is exceptional, what sets her apart is the commendable service that she and her team had provided. Mandy had been proactive from the start by taking charge of all aspects of the renovations. She would always listen to concerns and respond to them readily. Her team was able to work within deadlines by finding ways to expedite the completion without compromising on quality. The post-completion rectification works were also completed swiftly and amicably despite raising concerns after moving in. The services that Mandy and her team had provided is truly commendable. ?

Yuyu is super spot on and went out of the way to source for niche materials from non-generic tile and paint outlets. Extremely helpful and quick response to our inquiries from start to keeping us updated progressively on the renovation stages along with coordinating closely with our carpenters on the wooden table installation. She went out of the way to ensure that we were able to get our preferred materials and intricate design of our home layout. Handover of our home was smooth and on time ✅ Yuyu’s after sales service is extremely responsive for any minor rectifications needed with a quick turnaround time!

Renovation can be a tedious and tiring process but I was sooo lucky to have met Roy and Edmund after consulting so many Interior Designers prior. Firstly, they never made me feel like it was just ‘just another project’ they were going to take on. They were dedicated and gave such refreshing ideas on the design aspect. When it came down to the dirty work, the team were ever-present when needed. From the early stages to the end, I was constantly sent updates and rectifications were done even before I had discovered them which really allowed us to have a peace of mind. The outcome of our humble home exceeded what we had in mind. With the poor experiences that so many of our friends faced, we are so blessed to have taken a backseat in the renovation process and yet enjoy the comfort and design of our home. Highly recommend!

We engaged Mandy through a family friend that was familiar with her work. Throughout the process, she was attentive and accomodating to our needs. She was also able to translate what we needed & wanted in our home to her work and it was done well. There were some hiccups during the process but mainly due to the carpenter and covid related delays. However it was rectified after some clarification with Mandy. Would recommend engaging her for any subsequent projects. Thanks!

From the moment i reached out to Insight Out on Facebook, they've been nothing but responsive, friendly, and professional. Out of the 5 IDs and contractors I explored with, Roy understood my hopes to translate the Wabi Sabi philosophy into design and he gave great suggestions — that's why I chose them. From the selection of materials, to the design ideas, to the execution of the design, Roy and Yu yu had been an absolute delight to work with. I love their cheerful disposition to the entire renovation process while maintaining a professional standard in communicating with me, updating me, and counter proposing solutions whenever we hit bumps during the process. They are always ready to listen and open to changes that I requested for halfway through, entertained my multiple questions about the changes. They were patient to explain or would take initiative to find out if they dont have the answers. It just makes a difference when you bring sincerity and joy into this work that is really stressful and full of uncertainties, and I could feel this attitude from them throughout. I am most appreciative that they kept to my budget and even though the renovation took longer than i expected (largely due to COVID restrictions), I know they tried their best at every step to ensure I could still move in before the hard deadline i requested. Roy really went out an extra many miles to help me; he even helped my neighbours downstairs with a choked pipe, and I'm just thankful to have found an ID who understood my philosophy towards living, translated that into a beautiful house that I now call home, while being an absolute joy to work with. I get to know Edmund through a friend’s referral as I was looking for someone to renovate my apartment. As I was completely oblivious on the entire renovation process, I am glad that Edmund was patient with me as I bombarded him with plenty of questions at the start. He listened attentively to my idea concept and was able to incorporate some of his ideas into my existing concept as well. Through this whole renovation journey, I appreciate the fact that he was very prompt and patient to my questions and requests along the way (take time to listen in and really understand my concerns and was quick to address them too). Renovation process also usually came with a fair bit of issues (the workmanship etc) and he took the initiative to liaise with the contractors to address them before I took notice of the issue. Overall, I enjoy my time working with Edmund, glad that I chose him as my interior designer and will recommend him to anyone looking for an ID in the future!

Summary: End results far exceeded my expectations and surprisingly within the budget that I’ve set. From the on-start, i found it a challenge to find dedicated designers who are also experienced project managers till I met Roy from insight.out studios. :) I knew i had come to the right place to design a home space that was unique to my taste when i checked on their portfolio on social media. As a first time home owner, Roy won my trust by patiently explaining every step meticulously and being able to work on this project within my budget/timeline. Overall, i took comfort in knowing that Roy was looking out for me and did not lead me astray when i consulted him on multiple third-party design considerations like fixtures & fittings. I will miss this design journey with Roy am happy to recommend Insight.Out Studios to anyone who is looking for an excellent and reliable ID for their project.
