β β β β β Lot of hidden charges. Do not recommend.
Each time I did a transfer few dollars were missing from the agreed receiving amount. Last transaction USD 61 was missing from a USD 600 transfer. They said it was charged by a intermediate bank and this was not indicated before the transfer. Not trustworthy at all.
Update.
After I companied about this they replied saying "Instarem does not have control or visibility on these charge"
A Money Transferring Service that does not take any responsibility of the money that you're transferring.

1. This was not a well thought out product.
2. And this is not made to be a global product for global users.
On the badly thought out product flow: If you need support to log in, you'll be asked to log in first to get support!
On how it fails as a global product: If you registered in another country, they ask you to download from the original region of the app store (which you cannot have access to now if you changed your region to have access to your new locale's apps).

β β β β β Unethical company that lies about data management. Assured me that my data was deleted when it was not. I wouldn't trust them with my money or credit card details. Use them at your own risk. Good luck.

β β β β β Take note for those sending USD to non US territory. There are charges that Instarem cannot determine upfront. You will not get the intended amount to the beneficiary. They say that these charges are decided by the intermediary/agent banks and the SWIFT charges are determined by the agent bank. Do note these charges are separate to the remittance fee that you will pay for their service. I have an unfortunate experience of not receiving the intended amount to pay for my insurance policy, amount is less by US$36 apart from the remittance fee paid upfront.

β β β β β First time using INSTAREM to transfer money in TWD to Taiwanβs bank yet beneficiary bank did not received them at all! INSTAREM claimed that they had transferred?! Beware and use at your own risk!!

β β β β β I haven't used their Transfer service, but amounts pop up on the screen when you open the app; this is dangerous, any input should be rom the customer not Instarem. Their Amaze card can only be linked to Mastercard, so is of limited utility. I am going to cancel it.

- Declined transactions at point of sale but transaction is still deducted from credit card. (Beware of these!)
- Customers service that will close open items that are still open. For example unable to add credit card and the differences between foreign funds refunds.
- Amaze will not refund the differences between foreign refunds (try using DBS with 100% refunds. In this case, even with the 4mpd rewards = we lost big time!)
- Other than 4mpd rewards, current rewards = not worth it.
- I rather walk away from this card. Simply not worth the risks especially with declined transactions.
