โ โ โ โ โ Our go-to Ikazaya. Menu isnโt very large, but their yakimono are reliable stalwarts.
Go for the chicken balls, pork skewers, bacon asparagus and their sleeper hit, their Hikari Cracker.
With their recent menu refresh, their mentaiko gyozas were a hit with us.
Our most recent visit left us hopeful their seasoning would be more consistent; their yakimono seasoning was a tad too salty for once.

โ โ โ โ โ Made a reservation for friday night. It was super packed!! Service was great. Food was not bad as well. Except the kani miso which tasted a little bit off. Sake recommended by staff was super amazing and smooth. Great ambiance too. Will visit again next time!

โ โ โ โ โ One of the best Izakaya experiences barring actual Izakaya in Japan. The grilled squid was done to perfection! Mentaiko was great too albeit a little salty. Swordfish sashimi was perhaps the most exotic sashimi I've ever had the pleasure to try! A brilliant place for a casual or celebratory fun night!

โ โ โ โ โ Gem of a izakaya tucked away in Fortune Centre, and I was surprised that there s quite a crowd! Our table of 8 ordered a lot of food, and the grilled choices are delicious! The grilled dried stingray is a must!

โ โ โ โ โ I would say food is okay. More like 3.5 stars.. we were early and reached ard 630. There wasnโt many people, so the food came really fast but that was also sorta the problem.. they served all the food at once!
So like the grilled food got cold really fast and that compromised the taste a lotโฆ
I think the restaurant should pace the food else next time when u dine just donโt order all at once.. then u have to be prepared to wait cos the place can get quite crowded.
Otherwise favorites were the fried shrimp and sashimi was very fresh. Skewers we had the Wagyu, shiitake and peppers. Also tried the grilled octopus. Overall wonโt say great, but it was okay for the price.

โ โ โ โ โ Lovely izakaya, have authentic Japanese vibe here. Never step foot into this building before this and the buzz and vibrancy here amazed me. Im sure to come back and visit other eateries.
Back to Hikari, vibes were good, attentive service, great food and overall a pleasant experience. Will be back.

โ โ โ โ โ Great food, great ambiance. Enjoyed the potato croquette, highballs and salmon sashimi. Staff were friendly. Sit by the bar so you can see the chefโs actions and what other people ordered :)
