Good place for people to reform. Not situated at a "busy" area, at the same time not secluded either (able to see the outdoors).

As i expected this reformation centre so called halfway house(Jamiyah) is very convenient expecially for the inmates family to visit and spending quality time during the weekend.I and my love ones was very happy coz this is where we can see each other twice in a week to spent our time that been so long we have been away from each other and also timing was enough for us to talk bout our personal topic.Im here to give my feedback coz this is not the first time Ive been visiting my love ones there.Theres no problem about bringing things for them to use and food for us to eat together after for so long we are not be able to do that.I know the rules before n now are not the same as it was but as my part of satisfaction of rules now are unacceptable for me.Yes...maybe because of last experience whereby the rules are not quite tight,that Jamiyah staff had been thru towards the resident there that made the rules now more tight for us as their family.Im here writing with full of unhappy bout certain staff been treating me and I could not accept when they talk roughly towards my love ones infront of my face.They should not do that infront of their families members if they want us to respect them,they should respect us as we are all Muslim.They are just addicts not a murderer for the staff to act or talk in that manner.What's the point of they having a programme there if the staff incharge especially in the guardhouse treating or saying as if they are small kid..??Im not happy with that and one more thing,when they came there,we as a family and the inmates was very very happy been chosen for the programme and having counselling and so on for their future.Dear staff in charge...I want to ask,their property include money that they get paid for working in prison or their own money,can they give to their family members that in need??Is there any procedure and is it needs time to be aporoved?Well...as i know they must have money in there for them to buy ciggarette but if there are enough for them in there and the balance of cash why must the staff hold their own money to give to their family that in need??Do give me the reasons and why this law in Jamiyah not as before.Thats all I need to know and one more thing,dont because of previous residents ever break the rules there,the staff started to change the rules more tighter.Please do take note,even now if they want to escape or breaking the rules,it can also happen,theres no different.

The person who was handling the phone call today was so rude. I didn't expect this from him (whoever he is). He raised his voice yet he pointed at me. Ridiculous fellow! In the month of Ramadan yet he behave like a gangster. Fortunately I managed to contact Ms Normah who was kind enough to assist me. All I need is for my dad who is 80 over years old to return my call. I have left 2 messages and on both occasion they did not convey my message to my dad. So do you call this helpful?? That man seriously in my opinion don't deserved to answer phone calls, esp to manage such place. He has the guts to tell me what to do when I told him that my dad was unable to contact me earlier. That is a place for rehabilitation Not people who 'think' he has power over others and allow to behave with such arrogance and rudeness. Totally unacceptable!
