Walked 4.4km from Yishun MRT. Took 50 mins to reach. Sunset was not that spectacular but pretty still. Tip 1: Better to wear proper aqua shoes (I wore slippers and my feet sunk into the mushy mudflat a few times and I almost fell trying to pull my feet out of the mud). If u intend to wear track shoes, be prepared for a good scrub when u get home. Tip 2: Bring along a bottle of water to rinse off ur shoes. Or, do what I did: picked up a plastic bag on the shore, filled it up with the sea water and went back to the shore to rinse off the black mud. (No point putting ur feet straight into the sea water to rinse, as u would still step on the muddy areas when walking back to the shore.) Tip 3: Do be careful not to step on the seagrass and algae or you might slip. Enjoy the mini getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The fish farm is located near the waters around seletar island. We have to take a boat from Jenal jetty, next to Yishun dam to be able to reach the fish farm. Time taken around 7-8 minutes to reach the fish farm. This fish farm has numerous sections holding different types of fishes. Not a easy task to maintain the fish farm as you are face with the extreme wet, windy weather and difficult sea conditions. The fish farm is fully powered by solar panels installed on top of the roof and energy stored in energy storage system batteries for distributed use throughtout the day. A sustainable model in their operations. Full wifi system installed and available at the fish farm. Two dogs stayed on the farm to guard the place and the owners have full confidence that the dogs will be able to take care of themselves. I am really impressed by the patient and effort by the owner(part time) as a hobby to build and put together, bit by bit, a fully functional fish farm, out in the open sea. WFH is a norm in Covid situation and able to WFF(Work From Fishfarm) is is a clever way to destress.

Surprisingly really can see people living here. Few houses but not obvious as is next to the road. Can come here catching sunset.

Not exactly the village as it's not open to public. This is the recently famous spot nearby. A very short stretch to visit and is now crowded in the weekend sun set period. Should visit during low and high tide for difference experience and look. Might as well visit the nearby Rower Bay Park too.

Disappointed. Many plastic junks on the floor and the water that need to be dealt with. I don't know how people manage to take beautiful photos when the access is not allowed ...

First of all, you cannot enter this place. It is protected by a fence and also, there is video surveillance. Then there are piles of plastic rubbish beside the kampong that no one seems to care about. The trees in the water look dead to me. (Just imagine how healthy the fish is, you might catch there….) Oh yah, and for some reason (but that might be bad luck), on my visit I encountered a dead fish beside the sidewalk (what the…?!). Don’t go there! For a beautiful sunset go to nearby Yishun Dam or the Rower‘s Bay Park.

I think it's the last village in Singapore. It's not opened for public and you can't go inside also. However, you can still feel historical village at the outside area. You might also see teh sunset near the village.

I went there today, it was a stinky place, and the shore was full trash. Note that the village is closed to outside people. The view was good from afar, and there were many egrets around the village.
