★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JiaMei is a Sole proprietor. Family business. Friendly folks. Engage them to renovate my 2 bedroom condo. Contract says 7 weeks, actual took 14 weeks.
Price - mid range, about the same from my other 2 quotes.
Workmanship - need close supervision, tend to cut corners and make mistakes. Can you imagine drilling wrong holes when installing basin? Cabinet doors are not aligned?
Manageability - had a hard time requesting defects to be fixed. Almost having to fight for it every time. Maybe we have different perspective of what constitute a defect? If you have enough time to keep a close watch and keep nagging them to rectify defects, can give a try.
Likely to recommend - maybe for small odd jobs. Anything bigger needs direct supervision.
