★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The original family that used to run the shop was very friendly and helpful. However the staff that runs the shop nowadays are VERY rude and don’t provide any value service at all. I try to avoid if I can. Perhaps the owners should be aware of the type of service provided now. There is another hardware shop nearby that provides better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sales assistant behaviour is disappointing. Amid their initial closure during Covid 19 lockdown and only restart retail operations, they should be more proactive and not make such body languages and verbal remarks that we customers are a burden everytime someone comes in.
Return back to Johong? NO. There are other way better NIPPON PAINT distributors. Maybe we should take our money somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was ripped off at another shop to duplicate keys. Was charged 4 bucks to duplicate my bicycle lock key. The other shop charged me 8 bucks. Nelson the sales person got the job done. Thanks Nelson!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sales assistant conned my mother into buying more paint than we actually needed. We told him that we only needed to paint our 3-bed apartment once, but he told my mother to buy 7 huge buckets of paint. We ended up only using one bucket and he don't allow us to return the unused white paint.
DO NOT BUY HERE. OVER-PRICED AND THE SALES ASSISTANT LIES TO OLD PEOPLE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to get paint for a home improvement project. Shop was small but well stocked. Shop assistant was helpful hence I ended up buying my supplies from them. A few weeks later, I went to another Nippon Paint shop and only realised that Johong charged me 20 dollars more for the same bucket of paint that I bought from somewhere else! Never returning again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ googled for hardware shop and this came out as my bungee cord cable snapped needed a new one . came here they said do not have because messy and they don’t even bother to find . went to opposite delux paint and hardware shop instead , service better
