The first link causeway of Malaysia and Singapore. Normally it would be crammed during peak hours, festive season and school holidays. For working people it is recomended to plan your journey to avoid the jam.

This is not a bridge but a causeway. It is 1.6km long took 5 ,years to built. Work started in 1920 and completed in 1924. The causeway has the trunk road and water supply for singapore from south johor. At the time of completion there was also a railway line from johor baru to singapore.During world war 2 the retreating british blew a 70' gap in the causeway in 1942 but the japanese army engineers filled in the gap for their final attack on singapore.

It's an old bridge that links Malaysia and Singapore together. Traffic can be light or heavy depending on which timings. Smoother traffic flows could be achieved by moderating the flows at different hours and the availability of the Customs Counters and speed of clearance during peak hours. Let's look for the best of all.

2.5 years hasn’t went over to Johor Baru Malaysia to visit parent-in-law. Covid-19 separated many family by a link bridge acrossed. Finally today we can make a lomg waited trip. Believe many are making the same trip. Look at the jam….. probably going to take 45mins to an hour to cross Malaysia custom.
